It was the most despicable and poorly constructed wig I have ever purchased. Holes through out, too much hair, and poorly distributed hair. Non refundable, I through it immediately into the trash can. That was the 2nd and final time I will purchase a wig from this company.
The promotional images of the wigs are quite misleading. I spent 2 days reviewing the site and YouTube videos before finally deciding on one that appeared to have less dense hair. I received it today, and it is the most ridiculous wig I have ever seen. There is so much hair that I appeared to be a child wearing my mother's wig. The hair is overwhelming and is not distributed evenly leaving gapes and openings throughout the wig. The other problem I have with 99% of their wigs is the extremely limited choice in dark colors which suggests that most black women have dark hair; nothing could be further from the truth. Yet, 9/10 wigs come only in dark colors. I will donate my wig to my friend who is a hair stylist; maybe she make some use of it. I do not recommend the wigs on this site unless you are a professional hair stylist who can make magic happen.
If you have a problem with your purchase, consider that you have lost your money. Non-existent customer service, no answers, on Ig they leave you on read. Organized theft
This company got me. They sent me a unit that has a two-inch gap in the front of the unit showing the netting underneath. The volume of hair used in this unit is not sufficient to cover the netting. I normally do my research, but not this time and it is going to cost me.
Do not purchase a unit from this company. They can send you anything and not refund your money or try to make it right.

I purchased a unit from this company and was severely let down. The unit only lasted me one night, for $100. Additionally, customer service was poor. Would not purchase from them ever again.
I received my unit today, June 17,2023. I ordered a koily unit. This is a 8 inch afro wig, synthetic material $98 plus taxes, 108. I wanted to give black own business a chance. Damn here we go again below substandard work. It looks like a custom clown wig. Save your money.
My first wig I ordered from Fingercomber (LS Unit) in 2020 was great! Then I ordered two more (LS Unit/Tapered Bob). Both wigs were hastily made (shipped within 2 days of order, whereas the first wig took almost 3 weeks) and looked completely different from my first order. I immediately tried to return them — didn't even try them on — and was told I couldn't. Even after sharing the stark difference in quality from my first wig. I have a short haircut and you could literally see my scalp in the back of the wig! I have a video showing my fingers going through the wig and the spacing, but it's only 12 seconds and this site requires at least 15 seconds to upload.
Then I answered a question on their instagram- someone wanted to know how the tapered bob was and I told them it was very small more like a half wig and nothing like the picture shown. And they blocked me! Horrible service and they block those who give honest reviews of their product.
Save your money. Their quality keeps going down. Cheap material. The caps are far too small for a comfortable fit. There's not enough hair for proper coverage & volume. Grossly overpriced at this point. Never again.
I placed an order for two wigs. One was a mistake. I quickly sent an email 8 mins afterwards requesting a cancellation of the order and could not get my funds back.
I was FORCED to keep a product I did not want. This company so called policies are ridiculous.
The unit had not been made nor had I received the unit. These wigs are synthetic wigs and look nothing like the photos on their website. They obvious use photos from women of color with their natural hair and post it on their site. Save yourself the headache and your money and DO NOT BUY THESE UNITS. I have attached photos of what I received. Also BUYER BEWARE! THE BANTU KNOTS LOOKS NOTHING LIKE WHAT THE PHOTOS ON THEIR WEBSITE! It is a kinky hair you can buy on Amazon got 20 dollars. They not only have shady policies but they are nasty as well when responding to your emails AFTER they have your funds. I lost 224.00 for a synthetic wig I was forced to receive just minutes after placing the order. I can understand exchanges and refunds AFTER receiving a product but BEFORE the unit is made?! Please beware of this company
I got the sof kinx unit a few months ago and I was highly disappointed. The front of the wig looks absolutely horrible and completely unnatural. The ends are supposed to look nice and curly but most of them just look like a bunch of circles. There's also white sticky stuff when you try to split the "curls" at the ends. This wig was a waste of money and they have a no refund policy. This is basically a scam. This company needs major improvement otherwise it should just shut down completely.
Unbox the tiny fro and was definitely disappointed. I was so scared. Color was awful I couldn't dare put it on my head! Quality cheap and hard to the touch. Spent over $100 and there is NO refund. Awful synthetic quality and Poor business practices
I ordered the Bantu Knot Twist Out wig from Fingercomber. The wigs are handmade to order so it took about 2-3 weeks to be delivered. I waited in high anticipation because I had been looking at these wigs for years now but couldn't bring myself to purchasing it at that price. Finally, I decided to do it now that I'm out of the military. After it was delivered, I was impressed by the packaging, however, when I opened the box, I immediately didn't like the bulkiness of the wig. Since I'm not used to natural hair wigs, i further investigated my new wig. I quickly tried it on and began to dislike the way it looked on me as well. The wig in the picture had much more defined Bantu knot twist outs than the one I received and the edges of the wig were too bulky.
Side note: I have been wearing wigs for 10 years now, so I know that there are times you like a particular look but it doesn't look good on you.
This was the biggest part of my issue with the wig. I took off the wig and began to look for return information (thinking it's a7-day return policy or something reasonable like that). Since I couldn't find any, I emailed the company directly to express the discontent and sought information for a refund. After sending the email, I received a prompt response but didn't like the reply. In a nutshell, they don't do refunds or exchanges if it's been taken out of the box. I know they said it's due to hygiene but I'm sure there are ways about that. This policy or justification made no sense to me because there weren't many pictures of the wig available, barely any reviews on it, and I wouldn't have known how much I really didn't like the expensive wig until I purchased and tried it on. The only option provided to me was a $25 coupon on the NEXT purchase. Why would I chance buy another wig and risk disliking it? It's an expensive risk. So pretty much, I am stuck with a $108 synthetic wig that I hate. Maybe someone else would love it but it's not for me and I will not be patronizing this company because of that no return policy. That's is unrealistic. I would have considered purchasing another wig from the company yet, like I said, I don't want to run the same risk at that price.
I have ordered from this company before and had no issues. This time I'm having an issue that can't seem to be resolved. I ordered an item two weeks ago and every time I check it says processing. I have sent several inquiry emails and get no response. $118 taken off my account since day of the purchase. The company hasn't sent me any emails about the status of my purchase. Each day I am becoming more and more impatient. This is so unfair to me!
I simply inquired if they have bigger cap sizes on their Instagram page & was blocked. I purchased a wig & it was small and flimsy. I thought taking the higher road & asking if they come in bigger cap sizes was respectful. I am first time customer/buyer & I even wanted to purchase another unit to give them a chance, b/c I want to support a black woman business. Lol, I learned my lesson. Yeah it was $100, but trust & believe it will be last time I ever give a dime to this fraud. Proceed at your own risk
The first one I ordered in March 2021 was the HONEYCOMBER unit, it was nice, the curls and texture was as advertised. This time March 2022, the quality went down, the texture and curls are not as advertised. It looks like doll hair the roots are very straight, the curls were closer to just waves and there was white sticky stuff in the hair that seemed like glue. I'm very disappointed and embarrassed to wear it. I recommend that they get some quality control
I just received my unit and I have already fell in love with the look, the texture and the way it looks on me. I am ready to purchase my next one. I was very hesitant on buying it after reading the reviews, but I am highly impressed. It looks very natural and it flows. The curls are EVERYTHING!
I was so hopeful after watching the video on the website as well as YT however, this was the worst wig I HAVE EVER SEEN. It came thrown in a box with a piece of tissue paper no plastic bag or anything, simply thrown in a box. It looked like a wardrobe prop from one of Tyler Perry movies (Awful) I can't believe I paid $100 for this piece of crap and there are no Refunds! Now I can say in know how it feels to be Catfished because this definitely ain't the same products on the website…. Straight trash! Buyer Beware!
Ordered for an event. After a week with no updates emailed them. No response for three days. Emailed again. Finally the replied saying they had no inventory due to supplier constraints due to COVID19. I immediately replied saying I understand completely but my order was for an event. Asked them to please cancel as i would need to find something locally. Again CRICKETS! Another week of non response passed so i disputed through PayPal. Guess what? They didn't respond to them either. PayPal refunded my money. Clearly they are in it only for money and once they have it you better have a backup plan in case anything happens. They are the worst!

" Hello, I ordered a THE SOF-KINX HD UNIT with a "pinch of salt" - this wig is extremely THIN & there is the SMALLEST sliver of gray in it which I had to search for. The extra charge for that "pinch of salt" seems ridiculous as you barely added a thing to it. My unit does not look "HD" as the examples do. I'm very upset that I've paid this price for a "handmade" unit & it looks like this."

I am always supportive of black businesses but Fingercomber is among the worst and it is really disappointing. In the beginning, I purchased many Fingercomber wigs because though they're pretty to look at, their wigs run down and matte easily even with little to no manipulation. I don't add products to it, and tend to keep the wigs in the same condition I receive them. I purchased several wigs over a 2 year period. My final experience, I decided to opt for their wig service. I followed all their steps and mailed my wigs, detangled and prepped in February, 2021 according to the guidelines outlined on their website. It is now November 24th, and I have yet to receive my wigs. I've been emailing and received little to no response. I received a response from a woman named Lindsay, and she said via email, after receiving a full detail of my experience, order number and inquiry on the status of my wigs, she asked if I had a tracking number of when I mailed my order after SEVERAL days of no response. I even attached a screenshot of what is said on their website as my order still being marked as "processing". Lindsay then responded that she will check because they have such a large mailroom, and then stopped responding to my emails. I then asked for a refund for the wig service I paid for and my wigs back since I purchased those as well from their website, and crickets. I've emailed since and no response from this company. It's disappointing because I've referred several friends to Fingercomber and still can't believe how poor their customer service is. It's almost as though they don't care. Please avoid this company. I since moved onto HerGivenHair and not only is their hair better quality, but they are excellent in customer service. Do yourself a favor and do not purchase from Fingercomber. Lastly, I just checked my order number on the Fingercomber website, and it is still marked as "processing". Such a shame.
