*Wound up on this website while looking for metaphorical answers for why Uranus, Kronos and Zeus' all 'Swallowed Their Children,' only to release them at later time. Looked up 'swallow' and it's known as a 'Passerine' bird. Kept the young gods, 'passive,' by holding their sons close to their bosom? Probably abundant info on that idea.
Each of Vedder's pieces tells a key piece of the story of 'what happened.' Hits on Medusa, Tyre, Rome, Etrusca, Medusa & Athena replacement-Minerva, Sphinx, Genes, electromagnetism and much more. No way possible he selected just these themes without knowing the whole story beforehand. Guy was like the Albert Pike of the art world.
