Dstv rooter says "connected without internet". I have tried every trick suggested by the call centre but still I have no access. I regret everything. I just paid for nothing. Is this scam or what?
I would advice anyone who is interested in Dstv internet to never bother themselves and save themselves from stress and the regret.

Sorting package issues
September 21, 2024

There was numerous times I called to change my decoder package to the streaming packing. It never happend. After several hours on the phone and the 5th person talking to not knowing what the previous consultant had done or the comments they had written I decided to cancel the package. Each person had a different answer. It started with being sorted to being in credit and then in arrears. After cancelation of the package I was in credit. This is the worst service I have ever dealt with in my life. DStv wil NOT see my money again. Unorganized, no sense of what should be done or how things work. This is really irritating to pay for stuff and no person can sort you out.

The Holiday Home system... is good -- yes -- but the Website is BAD not user friendly -- and does not work properly -- it is better to phone in =-- then at least the good people on the line will help -- bad website -- YUK --- good people inside the telephone... the person who wrote this must have left for Australia -- and has forgotten about us... peter

Times Change
July 30, 2018

I was a DStv subscriber since 2008. Along the way, several options made themselves available, rendering the high charges of Multichoice unnecessary. I thought they would read the changed times and readjust their pricing model to fit circumstances. More than 24 months later, they are yet to play ball. I miss History Channel and CI, I must say.

Most pathetic company since Telkom, well it's worse than Telkom to be honest. It took me 2 hours on the phone with them, to activate a new decoder; and after the 2 hours, still nothing. They still could not activate it. The incompetent, unskilled, untrained person on the phone told me to hold cause his PC is to slow, makes me hold for another 20 min, never came back to me. Thank God for streaming services...

Series: seasons not shown in full eg Project runway S19, stopped at episode 9; episodes not in correct order; programs advertised often cancelled without notification; shows ends abruptly, leaving one wondering if it was cut short.
Execution of programs as reflected in guide unsatisfactory and very frustating. Leaves me wondering if someone is asleepbonbthe job.
Please! Show the rest of RHOSLC, S2...(. Reunion part 2) and the rest of Project Runway season. To name but a few!

NOT user friendly

There is sometimes fluctuations in the site. Logging in is easy but navigation takes a whole lot. The function to clear errors like that of E16 is not operational. In short, the site is very boring.
I won't be using it anytime soon except there is improvement

THIEVES

DSTV are THIEVES basically. I paid them for a whole year and they said they didn't get the money despite me sending bank receipts. Also they are over charging and disconnecting 100 times. Its ridiculous. Please DO NOT use them. They are USELESS

DISCONNECTION
May 15, 2018

Hi

I have set a debit order for monthly subscription and my bank notified me of the deduction on the agreed date but to my surprised you guys send me the message of not paying the subscription fee for May and now is the 15th you have disconnected my services and where do I get money now to reconnect. I pay this service monthly without skipping and not even watching all the channels that I am paying for but now I have to pay extra R50. That is so unfair to disconnected my services in the middle of the month.
