I sent two VHS tapes to put on to DVDs. I spoke with Dave on the phone to discuss. He ignored my request. Charged me $35 to ship and then $19 and uploaded them to the cloud not knowing whether I had a cloud account. Sent my VHS tapes back to me. Now he wants $40 to transfer my digitalization on the cloud to DVDs. He said he would give me $10 discount. What a scam! $94 for two DVDs!

Early in 2021 I sent DPS Dave's some of my old 35mm slides and negatives to have digitized. I sent clear instructions as to which negatives to have digitized and anxiously waited for the results. The results were terrible, and on top of that, they totally ignored my instructions as to which negatives to digitize. The digital files were unusable due to the horrible color and sharpness.

I called DPS Dave's to discuss what could be done and was told by a representative that they would talk with Dave and call me back. They have never called me back. After not hearing back from them, I would call again and always be transferred to voice mail. I would leave a message, but to this day, have never received a returned call. About every 2 months I would receive another bill and would call again only to have the exact same scenario play out. This has gone on for about a year now with no resolution.
Early on, not being able to wait, I sent the same slides and negatives, with the exact same instructions to another professional digitizer and got back great results, sharp and with vivid colors, and no problem following my instructions, see examples below, 1st & 3rd pictures digitized by other professional, 2nd & 4th by DPS Dave's.

On DPS Dave's website they talk about Trust, Reliance, Sincerity, Competence, Assurance, and Integrity. This could not be further from the truth, they cannot be trusted or relied upon to call you back as they insincerely tell you, they do not have the competency to even follow the simplest of instructions and do not stand behind their assurance of a quality product. Bottom line, they do not have the integrity to stand behind their product and do the right thing. DPS Dave's is a company to stay away from!
