This whole website is a scam, it takes your money and gives you fake profiles. You have to spend a ton of money just to send messages to people, but every profile that messages you IS A BOT. They send you tons of messages to get you talking so you spend money. It is a complete scam; all of the verified and featured user profiles are bots and use stolen photos. Do not use this website and do not let your older relatives use this website for dating, they will not realize it's a scam and waste their money. Not only are most of the 'hot' profiles bots but the other real profiles are weird and creepy.
Well I saw an ad for dating.com sandwiched in a news article I was reading. It featured a photo of a breathtakingly beautiful mature female. I was hooked instantly. Now one week and about $500 later I've realized that it is one of the slickest rackets I've ever seen. The "female members" that stroke your ego with flattering messages within 5 minutes of creating your profile are actually 1-900 (if anyone remembers those days) sales agents that are reeling you in to the tune of about $300 USD an hour with their chat credit system. Don't honestly know if they were even female. They also try to up sell you on emojis that you are supposed to buy to show your interest in them costing between several hundred USD and several thousand dollars USD each. Hate to break it to you fellas but, Marina, Jessica and whoever else you're talking to has no interest or intention of connecting with you on any level whatsoever. I indicated that I was interested in females aged 50 to 60 and was bombarded with chat offers from 60 year old women that looked like college students...1st red flag. Kinda wonder now why I wasn't able to connect with at least one of the real females that have complained about the site. Mad respect for the people that made this racket happen...have to give credit where credit is due. Wondering which hell hole? (Nigeria, India, Russia, China etc) these "members"were operating from. One dude operating 3 or 4 chat lines at once x 10 = cash cow. Good one fellas you had me going there for a minute.Would give 5 stars for its diabolical creativity but zero for ethics.

Hello, I am Carolina and I am looking for a husband. So far, it has been a rip off, we ladies have to pay for kisses, emails and viewing profiles. Paying for stuff is a job for men. Men pay for sex and love, women give the same for love and security. The world is like that. Tired of doing lame personality tests, proofing my picture and asked to pony up money for premium services. All these sites are a sham.
Hi Carolina, we completely understand your frustration and thank you for sharing your perspective. Our goal is to provide a safe, quality environment for both men and women to find meaningful connections, and we recognize that certain features come at a cost. We aim to balance value with accessibility, so every member can benefit from a secure and authentic experience. Your feedback on the costs and verification processes is invaluable, and we’ll keep working to improve. If there’s anything more we can do to support you, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly at support@dating.com.

This site is a scam. They charge customers on false pretences. Meeting anybody on this site is impossible since personal contact info cannot be exchanged. I really sincerely want to know whether ANYBODY has EVER met anyone face to face or even exchanged texts, emails or phone or WhatsApp calls, outside of their criminally priced email and chat system?
Dear Andy,

Do be informed that contact information can be exchanged through video chat or present delivery. But please do be reminded that While we provide a platform for meaningful connections, we cannot influence or force members on how they carry out conversations.

I hope you'll find this helpful.
This site and the other platforms from the same company have destroyed so many lives. Tell this,Maria Sullivan, the vice president of this b**place. She even allows married men on the site to make money. These guys, Enzo, stay online 24 hours a day and 7 days a week deceiving women, just like the other guy, Rodrigo. They are popular members (free members); they don't use the word free so they don't scare the paid members. They are all crooks. I wrote several letters; they never did anything about it.
So I took extreme measures that they will find out about very soon. We cannot let these evil mercenaries run the show. Whatever they came from Malta, Singapore etc. This is an international mafia.
The FBI should be involved in this to close down their operation. I will bring this to the FBI. Thave so much evidence. We need to get together to bring them down.
Tip for consumers:
Avoid at all costs! Their deceitful army is ready to swindle you out of your hard-earned money. I fell victim to their schemes. Keep your distance!

The man in these photos is a model and a fake. He has mention that this is an "investment " for me and suggested that I pay for an engagement ring for him but yet doesn't give his contact details or vomit to actually meeting. I made it clear that I'm not in employment yet the site continues to clutter my email with fake profiles who just want to waste my time making empty promises but don't actually meet up. Also my private conversations have been sold to third parties without my consent. The customer service do nothing to recoup your money and the charges are ridiculous.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We take your concerns about fake profiles, unsolicited contact, and data privacy very seriously. We apologize for the frustration and disappointment you've encountered.

Hi Range R,
Thank you for reaching out! I understand how important it is to connect with your partner. Please check your spam or junk folder for the confirmation email, just in case it landed there. If you still can't find it, I recommend reaching out to customer support directly at support@dating.com for immediate assistance.
We're glad to hear you love our site, and we want you to be able to chat with your partner as soon as possible!
The opening text says it's free. You can send a few messages. Then you're asked for money. You can't do anything without paying. If you then pay, you find out that the messages are computer generated. None of the men I wrote to were willing to contact me in any other way. They wanted to persuade me to stay on the site. I think these guys get money from Dating.com so that you stay and pay as long as possible. No luck. Just like on many other sites that want to squeeze the last bit out of lonely people. Absolute rubbish and just scammers.

Answer: TOTAL SCAM! I paid to test and see because my first impression was really bad, very fake profiles with basically the same texts. I also found it weird that as soon as I looked at a profile the person would shoot me a message... and this site doesn't show who's viewing your profile... another strange fact is that you don't have the option to delete your profile. I deleted everything, my pictures but could not exclude it. Anyway, don't waste your money, total scam. I also bought credits 1 day and had to cancell/block my credit card because the site charged me 5 times in a row on the same day, so they also work with extorsion...
Answer: Hi Curtis! Yes! Absolutly all our members are real! We have a special verification team to check all our members are real. We don't have any fake profiles on our platform. If you met any suspicious profile, please contact our CSD team. Best regards, Alex
Answer: Yes, I am a woman, I had been on the dating. Communities website for almost 3 months, I know very well as after they sent the email, I have to pay 10 credit to read each email. Even pictures, photo, video clip. If they are real why after chatting for months we already talking about marriage and still they refused (not one but 4 men from that website) to give real contact, email and wechat ID. In China wechat is very common even 80 years old have wechat. The men on thus site all claimed too old for wechat. That is really wired. Please be careful, those who said good review here, may be also their people. I am one of the victim who lose 5000 USD. I knew better.
Answer: Hi Robert! Absolutly not! All messages are created only by users. To make chat invite you can use Mingle service. Best regards, Alex
Answer: There are real people behind the photos. But they do not look for a real partner. You just pay and chat people under their profiles. Maybe just operators.
Answer: Yeah, I totally agree with you Regina. I tried asking them to keep in touch on Instagram or Facebook, and I did not receive any responses. Moreover, they kept sending me the same messages and emails. I've been wondering whether they are real or not.
Answer: No, you will not! If you use the tokens and do not realize that it's by the minute it goes fast... also, emailing costs more and they must get paid to chat with you! All the men are fake!
Answer: You can not exchange contact details in the dating.com because the person whom your chatting with is a staff of the site pretending to be the person in the picture.
Answer: Dating.com is a bad site at, they specialize in scamming people. They cover scammers. When I give all the evidence to prove Fake membership of the website, but they always give the reasons of being unintentional, irresponsible, wasting time, going around. I spent a lot of money for a member, but they returned me the wrong amount and even said it was their good deed. Here, I am the one who gives money, but I receive all Fake people, don't think you are charitable for others. There are many Fake members in Dating.com. I have proof, proving they're fake. I ask Dating.com to pay me back for the exact amount I spent.
Answer: Hi! We accept debit cards and PayPal. If you have any issues purchasing the service please contact customer support at support@dating.com
Dating.com has a rating of 2.1 stars from 1,191 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Dating.com most frequently mention fake profiles, customer service and credit card. Dating.com ranks 640th among Dating sites.
