Another site offering a roundup of what's hot in silly novelties, nerdapproved does manage to find some you might actually consider buying rather than just staring at in disbelief. Sometimes they'll hit on something so immensely practical you can't imagine how you managed before - the illuminated tent peg, for example, or the sleep-enhancing toothpaste - and then you'll find less useful but equally charming products such as the screaming flying granny and the haunted toilet paper. And don't forget to check out the Racing Sperm, just the thing for the person who has everything this Christmas. It all reminds me of the novelties which used to be advertised in the back of boy's comics in the '50s, only these days only adults are silly enough to buy them.
