I received my check and went to the bank and the bank said its fraud. Then I was told to try another bank well again could not cash it. So I fought with them for 2 weeks to just send a replacement they finally did and again the same thing we could not cash a check. So I have the bank helping me to see what can be done.
Sent in 6 boxes, less than 6 months old, and they claimed 5 were expired and only paid me for one. Contacted BBB and am still going back and forth with the rude, condescending "business owner... do NOT use this site, and please check into ANY site before you send your strips... this one is a scam
This is a big scam a very big rip off! I literally pick my boxes of strips up from the pharmacy brought them home put them in the box to send them to cash for diabetics and I get a letter back saying the seal was broken. That is a lie this was a joke!
First, there other companies out there that buy test strips and have larger payouts than cashfordisabetics.com such as https://teststripbuyers.com (wish I saw that first). Second, be careful and read everything they send you, not just the legalities of the terms and conditions. Let me be clear, it was my fault, I didn't look close enough and ended up getting $10 for boxes they were supposedly giving $20 a box for. I only read through the terms and conditions, which is what I believe you are legally agreeing to. Their terms and conditions did not state anything about expiration dates. Of the 20 boxes I sent them, 16 had expiration dates that fell within a 9 month range which reduced the payout in half. I truly believe that their terms and conditions are not specific enough and need to be changed. If you choose to use them, just be careful, they get to decide what your payout will be and could be significantly less than what you are expecting.
I sent 2 boxes of strips 9/30/2020 post office says they received them they never sent my check and responded once by email that they didn't have them when post office says they did they ate a scam I should have received $42 don't deal with these people
Been using this company for years with minimal problems until last week. They shorted me $20 for my strips saying g the labels were ripped and sent random pics of unlabeled boxes. I have OCD and I wrap each box in foam wrap carefully and intact and even use extra tape to seal the shipping box. They are ripping people off now and is unacceptable!
I sent two boxes that had well over a year before the expiration they were both in absolutely A1 perfect condition, had not been tampered with at all,, perfect! And I took close-up photos of everything and they sent me the check and one box they only gave me $11 for it was supposed to be 22 and they said there were Light stains on them! Wtf? Both boxes are identical there was not one Mark or anyting on the boxes, they had never been in the sun, this is a total rip-off and I'm reporting them to the b b b. I'll never use these people again! Absolutely not! An outright ripoff! I was so careful and I'm so cautious with my medicine it never left the cabinet stayed in the same temperature about 65 degrees all the time I mean there was not a flaw at all on either of these boxes. Light stains? Rediculous!
So, I have been dealing with this company for the past two years thanks to inflation, and generally speaking it's been a positive experience. My only complaint was the long wait time to get paid - they would send me a text saying my check was mailed today and I wouldn't get it for three weeks, despite being the next state over.
This morning, I planned on sending five boxes using this supposedly new UPS Store option with a QR code because they say it's a $10 bonus and faster payment. I clicked the QR code request button, which was supposed to take me to the UPS site to get the code. It didn't. Tried again. And and again. Nothing worked. I tried the live chat on their site, no response. I emailed, it was bounced back. I called the phone number, didn't go through. Then I searched "Cash For Diabetics Florida scam" and found a news report and this site, and now I'm convinced it is definitely something shady.
I gave three stars because I'm a "split the difference" kind of person. They provided free shipping, paid me, the checks always cleared - albeit some of the payments should have been higher. But clearly others here have had a much different experience, so I am steering clear of all of these companies. This might even be an illegal thing to do and I'm too cute for the slammer.
Cashfordiabetes is a huge scam their $15 check that I waited 4 weeks for bounce and they now need ro reissue a new check
If I could give them zero star I would. I send three One Touch Ultra 100 strip boxes and they only send me $15 total rip off. And I waited 4 weeks for this check because the first one supposedly got lost
Answer: Took a month and I just received a $15 check they are horrible
