Art-heist.com has an "F" rating with the BBB. My opinion is that because of the bad rating they opened another site called framedartwarehouse.com. This site never mentions any affiliation with art-heist. When your credit card is charged it shows up art-hesit. Framed art does not have a phone number (big give away that there will be problems) and does not answer e-mails. Art-heists voice mail box is full and will not accept new ones. Both sites - same company. My opinion - stay away.
Company does not ship items ordered, communication is extremely poor, Company lies saying item shipped next day and never ships, had to dispute charges with credit card company, contacted BBB to file complaint.
You can try to contact George Hansen at *******@gmail.com. I just received a full refund from him for my order placed on 11/26/13. We have been in touch a few times since my credit card was charged and the order was confirmed. Each time I asked for a tracking number, and the reply was that it would be shipped by week's end.
My last reply from Mr. Hansen offered a full refund on the condition that I had not already filed a dispute with my credit card company. I asked that he simply ship the print…no harm, no foul. This morning he sent the refund first, then explained that the print was not in stock. My reply was that if the print was out of stock, why didn't he say that before taking my money and promising to ship?
I find it interesting that Mr. Hansen has chosen the business names of Art Heist and Hollywood Framed…both indicating a play on the otherwise nefarious words…heist and framed. If he is using this as a way to capture credit card information or free-ride on online charges without delivering the goods, I feel the State of Texas should investigate.
