Took a faulty item back to edenthorpe Doncaster 8 days old the member of staff and elderly woman was rude to me no help at all insisting the item isn't faulty.she rang someone on my phone and tried it a few minutes lt worked for her l took it home the screen froze again l couldn't hear when someone rang me.she said the volume was turned down when l showed her it was switched up fully.l heard her in the corridor down the side where they collect the orders saying stupid woman. Oh ignore her...they were all laughing about me the staff member and 2 girls. Just because you are elderly Argos don't care.yes I happen to be an elderly daughter of a navy veteran who fought for their safety...l deserve to be respected l rang customer services the woman l spoke to said we can't help you if the store refuse to help then we can't help either. This item is 8 days or 9 days old lts not old why do you have customer service when they refuse to do anything took back on 21st 22nd and again on 23rd of January no help same answer still freezing screen battery running out and low ringing tone l have put this all over to warn people to avoid Argos their are better companions with a decent reputation
Argos are an awful company, after waiting 8 days for the earliest delivery slot for my sons bed the delivery truck arrives with just the mattress! Apparently the bed frame is on another van, so instead of arranging for the bed frame to arrive later today i then get a phone call saying i have to wait another FIVE DAYS for the bed frame to arrive! I ring to make a complaint (which was of no assistance at all) when i asked for refund was told it would take up to 30 DAYS TO RETURN MY REFUND! Yet they took my money instantly for the order, My son is autistic and all of this is not good for him at all, i am full time carer to my parents and arranged this specifically for my day off, think twice before ordering from this company.
Purchased online and went all the way to the store to collect (30 mins journey) and was told that the order was canceled due to technical issues. I am still waiting for refund after 10 days

I made the mistake of ordering a tv from argos online. When it didn't arrive I queried it. I spoke to 3 different people the one on the phone couldn't use a computer. I contacted them through instant chat only to be told conflicting answers. I'm. Shocked at the level of dumbness displayed. Argos are quick at grabbing your money but unable to fix anything when they make a mistake it's unlikely I will see my money again. There nothing more than thieves they steal your money and there's nothing you can do to get your money back and they don't provide the items why are they still allowed to operate
I would give 0 * if that was an option! I placed an order for a dishwasher, a month ago they took the money,delivery date set.my husband took a day off work. Mid morning they text to say because of a technical fault the order had been cancelled. I mean angry is not the word. Customer service and online chat next to useless. And the money won't be credited back to our account for at least 5 days! Absolutely won't be buying from Argos/sainsbury again.

I placed an order for a fitbit sense2 for it to be delivered to my nearest sainsburys for collection. It never arrived. I gave it 7 days to arrive and they didnt email any apology of it running late or it being lost or anything. Anyway I decide to call Argos and got their call centre in India where I was messed around and I got put through to a manager who promised me a refund also a gift card for 50 quid etc. He promised to email me all this in 24 hours...never materialised. So I called 2 days later and asked to be put through to a manager and was told to keep waiting for my order. I insisted on a manager and they hung up on me. I tried to cancel through them and they wont allow it. SO im having to go through my bank to recover my refund instead.
Steer well clear of Argos.
Cooker was delivered on the 18th August when opened dented badly and was told from electrical not to use it due to smoke coming out. Fast forward 5 days with no oven faulty one taken away new faulty one delivered
Apparently couldn't get van down the street to deliver washer so delivery man called and I couldn't hear a word he was saying and he just hung up on me. Had to call Argos support twice today to get answers because wasn't informed of everything and turns out it's not even being delivered today! Completely unclear. Sort your phone lines and clarity out!
We will NOT be ordering from Argos again until this is sorted. I did not get an apology or anything and Argos customer support was a headache to navigate and the phone operators were not helpful or nice.
