Received call today telling me that my email account would be closed because of too many errors (being a 74 year old who should not even have a computer) fell for it and the man told me it would be $15.99 for a year. So I gave him my info and then called my son who told me to call my bank and cancel debit card. This was within 30 minutes and they had already made a deduction of $287.00 thru Western Union. Bank cancelled debit card-advised me to call Western Union and report this. Found out it was a scam and filed a report for Fraud immediately. This company needs to be stopped ASAP.

Very poor
June 26, 2018

Very poor.

I could only get it to work for about 30 seconds. After that, it times out and shuts itself down. I liased with the support person to try and resolve it, nothing worked. Tried turning off firewall, uninstalling, re-installing, nothing worked. Bear in mind I am a web developer and not a novice user.

I have asked for a refund, but they are ignoring me. I would stay away if I were you, I have invested a couple of hours trying to get it to work and now it appears they will not refund.

I got a call today from one of their sales people. They claimed that they have notes about viruses on my computer. They did have my Windows license number - not sure how they got that - but since they are supposedly Microsoft Certified - maybe they get that from Microsoft. Not sure.

Anyway I am technical and all of the steps they were taking to convince me that my computer was infected was bogus. They had me open up event viewer and every computer in the world will have entries in there. Since that did not convince me, I opened up the AMMYY review in my browser and it showed 2 1/2 stars out of 5 - something they did not agree with and stated that no matter what software I had in place - Defender, Malware Bytes, etc - was not as good as theirs. They want to charge a 1-time $177 charge for their software - pretty hefty out there for 2 1/2 star software - where most are $29.95 or $39.95.

They next did a screen share (I was really intrigued now on their tactics) and he brought up my services info in a command window. He showed that some of my services were stopped because of infections. I then opened up the regular Windows Services window and showed him that the reason those were stopped is because they were set to Manual - not automatic.

These tactics would work on probably 75% of the PC users but not me.
Crappy sales techniques and they could not explain how they got my Windows license - very vague.

Do not do business with them.
