Easy to set up right out of the box. You can easily fold and put in the trunk, easy for one person. It takes less than a minute to unfold and set back up. Recommend buying the feather comfort cushion and the tote bag. I have used this several times for my 95 year old mother, she loves it. Also, it fits in between doorways in the house.

In a bit of a knee jerk reaction to a temporarily broken scooter, my Mom orderred a replacement from Joe at 1-800Wheelchair.com. Before it arrived, her broker scooter got repaired. Joe was EXTREMELY understanding and had no issue helping to cancel the order, even though the equipment had been shipped. He handled the FULL refund without issue. Very good company. Did not expect a full refund, including shipping - Over-the top doing the right thing in my book.

This company sells substandard items. I have found that out two times. The customer service is substandard as well. Got a wheelchair for my wife. Within 3 months the so called leather armrests started to tare and the insides were coming out. It took weeks for replacements. I will never use this company again.
Beware, do not order anything from this company. I tried to insure I was ordering the correct part (X-Hinge Assembly for a Breezy wheel chair) by calling the company because the description is not clear when there are multiple versions of the same part. No clarification notes were to be found. The people answering were clueless and appeared to be operating out of their house with babies crying and dogs barking. I provided them with the best information I could find and was told they would get back to me. They never did get back to me. Since I needed the part right away I went ahead and ordered the closest match to the parts list which consisted of a dimension that was apparently referring to the seat width. Again no clarification of what the dimensions were, and customer service didn't have a clue. Also, it was not clear that one order was for the entire wheel chair, not one cross Hinge assembly piece. So I ordered two thinking the part number was for one piece. When I received the order, I got twice as much as needed, and the parts were too short, and flimsy looking. I tried to return the parts to reorder a larger part, but they said there were no returns for parts. I looked all over their website at the point of placing the order and could not find the no return policy. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! SALES PEOPLE ARE UNINFORMED, RETURN POLICY IS TERRIBLE, THEY DO NOT WANT TO WORK WITH CUSTOMERS.
I had read some fairly poor reports about 1800wheelchair customer response. Thus I was more than a little apprehensive.
We bought the Featherweight Mobility Chair. The left motor gave out. I contacted the company but they were back ordered on parts. When the part came in we were sent the motor free of charge. Opps wrong motor. No problem. We were allowed to keep the right motor and were sent the left one Priority Mail to Alaska. No matter what power mobility chair you buy - they are all made in China and we are at their mercy for parts delivery. We couldn't blame the company for that. The company was as responsive as possible under those circumstances. We worked with Jerry in repairs and he was most responsive at every turn. I just thought this company needed to be recognized for our excellent service. Often people fill out these reviews only if they are unsatisfied. We were most satisfied. My only wish is that there were specified repair places about to service these chairs.
I had difficulty with mounting the wheelchair we ordered. It only took a phone call and couldn't ask for better or faster service.
I am an 82-year-young stroke survivor, paralyzed on my left side. I ordered the 1800wheelchair FEATHERWEIGHT. The wheelchair I received had faulty brakes, so tight I could not use them even with my strong right hand. I received no instruction manual. When I called their customer support they suggested loosening screws, which did nothing. I said the brakes were faulty, they stated they can be very tight on these chairs. The tight brake information is not on their website. The person answering the phone was very brisk and dismissive as their day on the east coast was ending. I cannot use a wheelchair without brakes I can use. The return information stated I was responsible for the shipping fee. The FedEX shipping cost me $166.92. Joan

I almost bought an e-scooter from this outfit and they almost scammed me off my credit card. Luckily my World Elite Mastercard company spotted duplicate charges repeated right up to my credit limit! The credit card fraud team stopped all the fraudulent charges, even the charge I thought was legitimate. If I would have used a debit card for this transaction I would be alone in my struggle with the fraudsters. The experts say to never use a debit card except for ATM use, preferably at a bank ATM because you don't get 0 liability or a fraud team when using a debit card.
After being informed of all the malarkey they tried to pull on my credit card, I tried talking to 1800 wheelchairs customer service. I could barely understand her and I doubt they understand much English. They sub out their customer service to India to workers who read from a script and you get nowhere with them if you have a complaint, all they are programmed to do is collect money. This speaks for itself. After reading all the negative reviews for this company Im glad my relationship with 1800 wheelchairs was terminated by a credit card that consistently goes to bat for their customers.
I bought the featherweight scooter in May... It's August and I still can't use it. My first battery that they sent wouldn't hold a charge, so they sent me a replacement after 6 weeks because they didn't have one on hand... It's here finally with no charger and there's not an option to buy one on their site yet... The extra battery that I bought is still not here. The scooter itself is wonderful (what little I got to use it) and the customer service kept me updated through the process, but those two things are the only reason they're even getting two stars! You'll like the scooter, but DO NOT buy it from this company! If you have any problems with it, just be prepared to wait for weeks, months even... Very dissatisfied! Buyer Beware!

It cannot be used outdoors *at all* (It violates warranty, despite the advertisement) it cannot go over bumps higher than 1/4", cannot take hills. This is for FLAT SURFACE/INDOOR ONLY

I received my new wheelchair today and it has been awesome. The entire process from ordering to delivery with 1800wheelchair has been great. Lisa is awesome as she talked me through the customization of the wheelchair to make sure the fit was perfect... and it is! Thanks I am going for a roll now.
With the help of staff I purchased a 845.00 lightweight wheelchair. Ait was too small and the return charge is 84.50 plus shipping. The chair was never used and I was not told about this policy. I am out over! 00.00 to try a chair that the company recommended.

I loved dealing with this company. The product I ordered to fix my rollator was top quality and exactly what I needed. I ordered more than I needed and was able to return the extra pieces with no problem. Their customer service was exemplary and I would deal with this company again and also recommend it to anyone that needs some parts for their assistive devices.
Make sure you TRY to get what you pay for. However, trying isn't always effective. I purchased this chair with gray upholstery, plus extra upholstery, the upgraded battery, the waterproof gel cushion, foot hooks, anti-tippers, and the push bar. What I still HAVEN'T received is the gray upholstery, the upgraded battery, and the waterproof gel cushion. And not for lack of trying! I emailed and talked to representatives, only to be told "I sent your information to the warehouse" and NEVER have I received all that I paid for. BUYER BEWARE. My disabled husband is the one who is suffering for this. I have never been so disappointed in a company and I paid way too much to not receive the full order.
I WAS WORRIED ABOUT BUYING SUCH A LIGHTWEIGHT CHAIR BUT I AMSO GLAD I DID. I AM A HEAVY PERSON AND NEEDED A 22 INCH WIDE CHAIR. THIS ONE WORKS FOR ME. I WISH THE SEAT WAS DEEPER BUT IT WORKS. We worked with Lisa Stapley in summer of 2020 on a custom TiLite Aero Z wheelchair for my daughter. She listened and was very helpful with suggestions based on things we liked and did not like about past wheelchairs. The virtual fitting and customization process worked great (in fact, better than some of our in person fittings in the past).
The wheelchair frame came very well packed and we only had to slide some pieces into their pre installed mounts (armrests & antitip bars). We were kept up to date with anticipated arrival for the seatbelt, cushion and seatback, which arrived separately. The only ‘fiddly' parts we had to install were the seatback mounts - mostly measuring. Lisa was very helpful and patient with sending information and looking at pictures of our daughter in the chair to help us get the best fit.
The seat cushion was a very unusual custom size and the company It was from made an error in fabricating it. Lisa worked as our go-between to return it and get it made correctly.
This past week, we saw our daughter's Physical Medicine doctor and a seating specialist for the first time since getting this chair. The both felt the fit of the chair was great and were amazed we had done it thru a totally virtual process. They had no suggestions to improve the fit!
