I have an account with this job platform and I am glad that I made it since the last job I landed was from here. I don't know about the other countries, but in the Netherlands this platform is getting quite popular. Many companies are posting their job calls here. Hence, a lot of job opportunities.
It is good that you can adjust your settings and I receive regular emails about new job calls for the positions I have set. You never know when a good and better opportunity will come.
Zip Recruiter is such a scam! They lure you in with "Post jobs for free" and you think the first one is free. After not getting quality candidates, I stopped logging in. Oh, I did get a few candidates from India for a job in Kansas. Then they start charging your credit card $18.00 per day. I racked up $1500 in charges before I realized what was going on. Their customer support team is like a brick wall. Why would an honest company bury this kind of thing in the fine print?
Zip-Recruiter is absurdly overpriced for the paltry and unqualified candidates that are received. I paid almost $700 to get 18 applicants for an entry level position. Only 2 were even remotely qualified. The rest were from across the country or completely unqualified. Very disappointed.
Job results are completely irrelevant to search terms used. Searching job openings for buyers, and it displays everything from CDL drivers, to fast food, to medical professionals. They email me "great match" results for positions that don't have any similarities to the experience provided in my profile. Worst site I have ever used as a job seeker.
The conversion of clicks is so low for what that you pay, £99 for listing is a robbery!
They do not have claimed traffic and people seeking job which they do advertise, apparently they have huge base, 2 clicks for the whole time is a laugh.
Don't waste your money on job posting here, free options do have more conversions.
I took ZipRecruiter up on its "free" offer for employer job postings. I received a majority of responses from unqualified candidates. Of the "qualified" responses, I was neither able to get responses to my calls/emails nor candidates to show for an interview. When I spoke to their customer service I was told, "no refund and no appeal process." I will NEVER use them again and advise all employers to steer clear!
A company this big and successful should not be sending hard copy mailings to people who don't want them. I gave my info to their company once and then didn't use them and i get constant hard copy mailings. They have zero concern for the environment. I don't do business with companies that do this.
We had a free trial they did not honor. Then told the monthly fee was 249 after the trail. We cancelled after 15 days because we did not find the quality of applicants we anticipated. Then we were billed 349
Very deceiving and deceptive billing
I too have had a very bad experience with zip recruiter. Their billings practice is very deceiving and deceptive. They have this box that you have to accept "daily subscription" that you think is for the ad you are running. Then the candidates that they send you don't meet the criteria that you asked for. You get frustrated and pull the plug on the ad. But then you realize after you keep getting billed for $504 that they deceived you and you are still getting billed even though you no longer have an ad listed. Warning do not sign with zip recruiter
Signed up for a trial for which I got charged anyway. I still am trying to deal with these charges.
I received over 40 resumes and the majority of them didn't even respond. Of those who did respond and take my job, all of them did not show. It was all around a bad experience and their customer service was unhelpful.
ZipRecruiter has a rating of 3.9 stars from 581 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally satisfied with their purchases. ZipRecruiter ranks 1st among Recruiting sites.
