I have a G6PD and the advice for "safe" Medications for My condition Is A list of Fatal Medications that can lead to Death! Unless the Goal is to Kill People like me (Native American, Asian, African, and Arabic) and some European Asian descent That have a G6PD This Should Be Addressed ASAP Before The Wrong PA Kills Someone.
I subscribed to Wiley Business Now for one semester. I am using the university's wifi but even when I switch between the university's two wifi (both should be working well because I can access other online materials using those wifi), the e-textbook gets disconnected and often doesn't stop loading.
Very inconvenient and disappointing. Also there is only a limited variety of textbooks in Wiley Business Now- for example, there are only three textbooks on corporate finance. Definitely won't use this again.
Not beneficial for helping you learn. You only get limited attempts at each problem, and they deduct points for wrong answers without providing an explanation or reasoning behind the correct solution, so it seems like they are trying to punish you rather than teach you something. Other education software like Mcgraw-Hill connect provides step by step solution to each answer, but there's none of that on WileyPLUS. They'll show you the correct result with no explanation of why that answer is the way it is, which is really frustrating when you are trying to learn a topic.
On top of that, the website that is dated and difficult to navigate. By far the worst education software I've ever had the misfortune of using. I would not recommend WileyPLUS to anyone, and it is definitely not worth the $100+ that they charge per course.
Can not sign up for practice tests because the access code fails. The only way to contact customer support is to log in. The only way to log in is to complete the acces code process which keeps failing. The catch 22 is completely infuriating at a time when i need to focus on studying i have spent an hour on a failed login process.
I tried purchasing a book online, they didn't have correct course associated with the instructor. I finally found my book and paid to have online access and loose leaf. I was able to access the book on day 1 but from there it wouldn't load. I tried everything from clearing cache and cookies to software updates. I tried on 2 different computers with different operating systems. The when I tried to navigate the student resources, I had to update my password with each attempt as it didn't remember it. I contacted my instructor and got no feedback. I tried to reach out to the community and I see several questions but no answers. I created a claim but have not heard back from Wiley. This is extremely disappointing after spending $165 and so far 2 days of wasted time. The online version sounded promising with the ability to read, listen, highlife, etc. but only in theory apparently. Purchase elsewhere if you can.
If you hoped to be able to actually download your book and view it without the wiley book viewer, you are going to be disappointed. 10 page printing limit, you have to use their special book downloader. Sucks, I wish i spent the extra $20 and ordered the physical book like it was 1995.
I tried to order a book that was recommended by the teacher. When I ordered it I wanted a hard copy and somehow was directed to the E copy. I finally received an email with a phone number and was able to call the number and get customer service, who was very helpful in canceling the e book and reordering a hard copy. I was pleased with their follow up service.
I ordered a booked with them and paid for two day shipping. Received no information on how long it would take, and now I'm still waiting after 3 weeks.
Will NEVER order from Wiley again.
I purchased an ebook and they said I had to get the Bookshelf app. I would not have purchased it had I known this. But OK, I didn't click on the little question mark which stated this, so buyer beware and "No Refunds." Anyway, the email instructions said to download the app which I did, and to create an account, put in your redemption code the book will be available. However, the app only offers the ability to sign in and does not offer the ability to sign up. So I have been waiting for way too long for the chat on the Bookshelf site, and it finally gave me a message that they are busy and to send an email instead. Too bad I can't read the book I just paid $71.00 for. Thank's Wiley. I'm sure the hackers can get at these, but you are preventing your paying customers (or former customers in my case) from obtaining the book they paid for. Good Job! Whey I tried to go to Wiley's support page, it says to log in, but when I do, it says I am already logged in. Again, it gives no other options so you are in a loop.
The same great products that we have come to love over the years! Nothing has changed, and that is a great thing. Why fix something when it is not broke!
