It's my Mom's 97th birthday today so I decided to take her to the Whole Foods at 1111 S Washington St in Denver to pick out a pastry and order her a Chantilly cake for a family celebration this Sunday. We walked up to the bakery section and two employees were there chatting and ignoring us. Finally, one came over to see if she could help us. She told us we 'would have to order the cake online and that their cooler wasn't working so they did not have the individual tarts made. Last year, I ordered the cake online, picked it up at the store and they did not write Happy Birthday on it. I ended up buying some croissants and at the self check out, it would not scan. The guy working there acted like I was disturbing him asking for help. What a waste of time taking my Mom (who has trouble walking) in the store. I will never buy anything from Whole Foods again!
Whole Foods Market is my preferred grocery store for its commitment to quality, sustainability, and variety. The store offers a wide selection of organic and locally sourced products, including fresh produce, artisanal cheeses, and gourmet prepared foods. While prices can be higher than conventional supermarkets, I appreciate the transparency and integrity of Whole Foods' sourcing practices.
I went on December 23th and it's a shadow of what it used to be.I delivered for them 2006-14 for 8 years and after sometimes I went back because I was nearby and really hit me...their prices are insane and quality to the floor.I buy some baked goods and really bad quality...the food bar looks like few dogs fought over it.good bye whole foods never more.
I placed an order for a cake online, as I was told to do when I called, and it feeds through Amazon. We live 45 minutes away and we made it into town to pick up the cake, notified them we were on our way 15 minutes ahead. I then received a notification the order was delayed. Fine. We get there and get a message order was ready. Went inside to pick it up only to learn the order was cancelled and should not have been accepted in the first place. Thanks a lot Whole Foods for screwing up our birthday celebration with 20 guests.
Yes,
I was standing next to shelves choosing goods, bat suddenly one young employee said to me:"Go out from here, there is a hand truck will come soon." Honestly, I was shocked. I never ever had this before... in any store. I watched the spot and yes, less then a minute a hand truck was passing by. I do not like this. I left, did not buy anything. Bad store ethic
Think twice before making yourself a salad at Whole Food's salad bar. I thought I'd grab a salad there this afternoon this agternoon gor a quick lunch. My jaw ended up on the floor when I got to the checkout. It was $17.27! Yes- you read that right. I am resuming my boycott at Whole Foods Market effective today.
Whole Foods in DC. Trying to force everyone to use self-checkout which my wife and I have tried and hate. Only one live cashier. We just had 35 min wait to checkout with only two people ahead of us! We used to do 95% of our shopping at WF at about $200 a trip. Now, we do about 5% there, if that much. No longer willing to pay extra high prices for extra poor service. Having only one cashier is poor business.
I bought organic crisps apple at $1.99 prime price
The 1st time they charged me for honey crisps apple at $3.99 and said I made the mistake at the self checking. I bought the same apple and the same problem happened. They never apologized and said it is because it says pink lady on the apple tag.
After 3 weeks the prime label still says crisps apple and not pink lady and today when my prime membership did not show on my receipt they told me they took 1$ off my bill but they do not know why.if you look at the numbers nothing adds up…. But nowhere my apple are $1.99
I asked for explanation and was told "take care""good bye……
Very rude and unprofessional
I have ordered Thanksgiving meal from Whole Foods for several years. The turkeys can be on the low end of the weight range, but within it. This year I othered a turkey for four people at the cost of $59.99 and the range was supposed to be 8-10 pounds. The turkey I received was 7.5 pounds, which is not within the 2 pound range! I notified customer services and they said there is a three pound range, 7-10 pounds, which is ridiculous! We are all talking about a meal for four people. I plan to order Thanksgiving from some where else in the future. What a dissatisfactory resolution, such a disappointment.
I have been shopping solely at Whole Foods since Covid. But, now I am so disappointed. They continue to discontinue the items that distinguish them from being a regular grocery store. A month ago they discontinued "No Salt" Turkey in their prepared foods section. According to the store, this was a best seller over all other turkeys. But the corporate team decided to discontinue it and replaced it with turkey that is brined with salt and sugar (to keep moist). This is not great for customers who shop there and are trying to cut salt and sugar out of their diets. Another reason to stop shopping at Whole Foods. I can get brined turkey for less money anywhere else. So unfortunate. They used to be health conscious. Not anymore.
Answer: Good price on probiotics, but I go elsewhere for anything else.
