I am a new customer. Was extremely disappointed with the declining service I have received from my previous online vet store for the past 3 years. I had been waiting over a week for the previous company to get back to me after the promised a same day resolution to a mess up, Got fed up and found Vet RX Direct. The entire process was seamless. I spoke with the nicest agent, Tyler, who confirmed all was set. I got my order a few days later. Meanwhile, it's almost 2 weeks not and that other company in which I had been a loyal customer, has STILL not gotten back to me.

I have a legitimate prescription for my pet bird, from a licensed avian veterinarian, and the clowns at VetRxDirect refused to fill it because it is off label. That simply means my pet bird needs to take a medicine that is formally approved for dogs and cats. Guess what... this is extremely common in veterinary medicine! Pet birds are prescribed 'dog and cat' pills all the time. I marched my $220.00 order right on over to another site, which happily filled it after confirming the details with my vet. Don't waste your time on VetRxDirect, they're not worth it.

I had a great experience using Vet RX direct. I was given a choice for a time slot for next day delivery, and they texted me updates on when my order was en route and when it was arriving. The box was beautifully packed, with a card with my cat's name on it, a small catnip toy and, most importantly, very thorough and clear directions. Excellent!
I communicated with customer service a few times in the course of setting up a prescription, and they were always prompt and kind. I appreciate how rapidly they reply to emails (the last thing anyone wants to have to do is call someone these days!) and follow up.
I have rarely had such a gratifying response from a company in dealing with a difficult and confusing situation. Somehow two different scripts for the same medication were on file at the VetRx pharmacy for my cat. The pharmacist caught the discrepancy right away and with the help of Kaylee, an ace staffer, proceeded to clarify and resolve the situation. In addition to this, they even expedited shipment of the medication since the order had experienced delays. I am grateful for how responsible and responsive VetRx and Kaylee were in seeing that my cat received (a critical) medication on time.

Had to cancel my order today after 9 days of waiting for my order to ship. My vet said that they faxed approval 7 days ago. I have an issue EVERY time i order from them. I'm taking my business elsewhere. Horrible customer service
I placed my order on the 22nd and tracking says I will not get it until May 2. It is unacceptable to have to wait 10 days for needed medicine!
There has been some delay issue every time I have placed an order, 5 orders. All of the delays could have been prevented if they just picked up the phone and called me as I have requested at least 3 or 4 times.
Seems I'm not the only one that has had delay issues. The BBB shows similar complaints along with their reluctance to make a phone call dating back 3 years. Why haven't they fixed the problem?
These ongoing issues could be resolved by adding this to their process:
-Ask the customer if they would rather be contacted by phone or email and adhere to their request.
-If you haven't gotten back a response to your email, phone call, or fax within 24 hrs., call the customer.
These ongoing delays are putting our beloved pets at risk.
We needed Visbiome Vet probiotic, which we had previously bought from vet. This time, we called VetRX, after learning they carried the same thing, less expensive, and shipped second day service, with cold pack as it needs refrigeration to stay fresh. I spoke with Tyler in Customer Service. He was knowledgeable, kind, and caring. There was a problem putting my credit card through, and Tyler said he'd try it again in the morning (after I found out from credit card company that no order had been received). Tyler called me back next morning and told me all was well and the card went through just fine. We don't know what caused the problem before, but it's all fixed now. Tyler was so kind, reassuring, friendly, and I felt like I was talking to a member of my own family.
Between the intuitive website interface, multiple medication formulas available, optional medication reminders and customer service, VetrxDirect does it the best. My parent has a cat with hyperthyroidism and we need the topical form of the medication which is hard to come by. VetrxDirect always handles orders effectively and they work with the Vet to make sure medications can be sent out quickly. I continue to be impressed and thankful.
