Although I had never gotten 1 inquiry from Uloop in the past when I placed ads, I gave it one more try in 2021. It has gotten worse! The emails come from "supposed" applicants and often the tel. Nos. Are false, the email addresses or names look strange or don't work and if you do reach someone by phone or email - they are not a student or never heard of ULOOP! What a scam of a housing service. Using other peoples names, tel nos or email addresses to make it look like the ad is working. Never again!
Anyone wishing for a well-regulated posting board without time-wasting fools posting these nonsensical statements should be removed and banned permanently. Any service not performing better than this does not really need to be attached to the internet at all. Be gone.
Only three inquires in two months on the site. And no rentals. I have a great location, decent price, furnished, and include utils. A complete waste of money as a landlord.
All these sites operate the same way... they offer an extra month if the first paid month didn't work. Extra free days on a garbage site is just more garbage.
When you post an ad on subscription, they tell you can:
Cancel anytime (impossible - the site makes no apparent provision to allow this)
Check the number of views your ads get (impossible - site makes no apparent provision to allow this)
I'm certain that the site can be helpful to student but to housing providers, it seems to be a total scam. I'm working to get disconnected from them but they make it difficult.
There is no one on using this site to search for student jobs. Posted here for 30 days. With pictures and details of the job. Nothing, not one response
Do not advertise on the site. They do no have any leads for students.
They will bill your credit card every month and there is no way to cancel the subscription.
They do not answer the phone.
Not worth it. Reach is not nearly as broad as they promote it to be. The price is more expensive than other similar sites. Not nearly as good as Craigslist for example.
We paid for premium leads through APP Folio and we have been slammed with leads - SLAMMED!
Every number goes to VM never an answered call never a response. Numbers and emails are fake. We are actually taking this to court. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS SITE!
