I'm sick to my stomach and wish I had read the reviews. Absolutely no customer service, no return phone calls. Same receptionist. Evidently the company is a SCAM. No merchandise and we are disputing charge.

Took my money & never heard from them again

This is a SCAM business. I made the mistake of not reading the reviews before I purchased. All of the other reviews sum up my experience. The order is taken and that's where it stops. They don't dispatch, they don't answer emails and don't answer the phone.
Having to now do a charge back to get my money. Do not even entertain buying anything from these scammers.

Please be aware these people are online scammers. Professional looking website. But as soon as they have your money they become uncontactable and you are left with nothing.
Please avoid at all costs. They should be brought to justice. Worst thing is they operate in Australia. Disgusting behaviour for an Aussie.

First off their customer service was incredibly rude. Second, we ordered 3 lights for a new house we were buying prior to our move in. Once we moved in we realized that the lights did not work. I submitted a return request and never got a response. I called a week later and the lady told me I was denied the return because it was past the 25 days. I said I submitted the request on day 25 and she argued with me and said it was past the time. She then said I could order different lights and then after purchasing and paying for shipping to send the other lights back could let them know and they'd refund me. This was already $500 worth of lights in which she wanted me to spend $500 more before they'd considered refunding me my original 500. I asked if I could get a credit to their store and she again said no. Most unfriendly person I've ever spoken too. I will not be recommending them or ordering from them again.

I ordered an item they showed as "available". Turns out they didn't have it in stock, but they charged me for it anyway, while they tried to find it from a supplier. Eventually, they sent me an email saying it was unavailable - it took more than two weeks after it was promised for my refund to appear (and numerous calls and emails) -- they never should have charged me in the first place for something they didn't actually have.

Avoid this outfit - they don't operate like a legitimate business, don't follow good business practices.

Poor communication and customer service
October 9, 2021

Ordered light fixtures with the intention of them shipping within the site specified 5-7 days after 12 days and no response I reached out after the 3rd attempt and a threat I was finally asked to wait until the end of the month and maybe they will come in on a truck. The items were out of stock and we were given no indication of this. Still trying to get a refund.

I want to help anyone contemplating doing business with this company... DO NOT DO IT! They are a fraudulent company, just check out the Better Business Bureau site. AFTER you place your order, they tell you it's backordered, ours was backordered for 5 months. We asked for a refund and they never issued a refund check or credit to our credit card statement. They also never shipped the product. Forget about calling as they use an answering service. We have been battling for 3 months to get our money back but they continue to find ways to stall or say, "our Accounting Department has it now and will be issuing a refund" which never comes so they put a "stop" and "reissue" which never happens. Caviet Emptor!

I purchased a light that said 3-5 day shipping time. Weeks went by, I emailed, called, and never once heard a response. Finally had to issue a chargeback through my credit card and still dealing with that. Terrible mistake I made!

I placed an order for 2 lights in January 2021. One pendant light was delivered in March, and the other one was never received. Tried to get in touch through the phone number and email provided without any success. Called my credit card company to initiate a chargeback. It was only after my credit card company got involved that I received communication from "thelightshot". Today, customer service emailed me to tell me that the light was on the way (4 months after order). I then received a call from a gentleman at customer service. He proceeded to scream at me and I quote said "screw you" three separate times. He would not let me speak and voice my concerns about the lack of communication and customer service.

Never received product or refund
September 8, 2021

Ordered in December 2020 and after 8 months of not receiving product and being told it was on a boat, I requested a full refund. They cut off all communication. Do not buy from this company.
