The tea was so bad that it was undrinkable, tried to return by contacting the company and they literally just stopped responding. The reviews on their website are also fake which I found out by trying to leave a 1 star review and realizing that it was never posted. Very dishonest seller trying to sell low quality teas.
Updated after returning tea - Tealyra was very good about returning the order and made a quick refund, without any hassle!
Original review - Very unimpressed with my tea order. I got several types, both familiar blends and a couple new ones to try. The masala chai, which I normally love, is so overdone with cloves that it burns my throat; nasty. Three other herbal blends all have unpleasant aftertastes to me. I was hoping to find a new tea source - no. But their CS was well handled!
They ship great fresh teas in these cute little boxes and pouches. They're perfect Christmas gifts because almost everybody likes tea. I've tried like 20 of their flavors and only ever disliked 2 of them, so they have a fantastic success rate with me. Try some of the fruity and spicy ones they have if you like tea... it's well worth a shot.
They sell a lot of natural teas. I prefer the dried fruit ones over the more bitter teas. They came wrapped up very securely in a pretty green and white box. Such a good experience. I love having some nice tea to relax with late at night after the day's work is done.
They sell some really nice dried fruit tea mixes. Pineapples and ginger and cherries and other interesting combos with lots of spices. And they ship in a nice looking box. If you like tea, give it a try.
They have a number of tasty fruit teas. Try something new like cherry or pineapple. There's some fun options. They ship things out in very classy packaging too. Only tea I didn't like is their green tea... I guess I'll stick with the fruity ones.
I love Tealyra! Every tea I have purchased was fresh and delicious. They have a huge variety of teas for every season and every reason. I highly recommend.
