My relationship with Squarespace.com began when Squarespace acquired Google's domain business. NOTHING has worked as it should since Squarespace took over: Squarespace consistently sends bad and poor information about when fees are due and domain renewal dates. Squarespace's auto-renew feature consistently fails to auto-renew (we then get several urgent warnings from Squarespace that domains will be lost because we haven't timely paid). Employee time spent troubleshooting with Square-space customer service was a waste (and an unnecessary, unwelcome expense for my small women-owned business): the issue(s) persists. We are manually monitoring, managing, investigating, troubleshooting and resolving our own issues with Squarespace domains. (Squarespace gets the SAME fee(s) we paid Google, so we have the right to expect the service to be the same, and to not damage or harm our business—which it has). Ultimately, my business will move our assets from Squarespace. One thing we know for sure: the "experts" and individuals who pushed Squarespace on the public lied. My small consolation is that this portion of our business is still considered small, so we are not losing millions of dollars due to the failures and bad service of Squarespace. (This part of our business was scheduled to scale from September 2024, so the delay in having to move to a new provider and the process to vet and approve a company—to protect our brand and reputation—is today costing us client business and earnings. I guess THIS is how the U.S. government will justify its claim that the U.S. economy is great: bad companies slash services to save on employee pay, while charging or taking the SAME fees. This is NOT at all an acceptable way for ANY reputable entity to do business in ANY country, and especially NOT in the United States—where generations of my family were born, raised, and do business or work.) I do NOT recommend Squarespace products or services to anyone.
My domain worked fine for years at Google Domains, but got auto-transferred to Squarespace due to Google Domains shutting down. As soon as this transfer happened, DNS stopped resolving to my domain and my website became completely unavailable. Squarespace support sent me a canned response saying not to worry and it should be resolved in 5-7 days. We're talking about a production site here. Squarespace doesn't care. Squarespace may be good for a personal site that you are fine with being inaccessible, but avoid if you actually use your site for business or anything important.
I heard rumors about this web design company and I'm sorry to say that it a scam even though I don't think it right for squarespace should charge money after all the world is in danger of World war three. It would be good idea to do a free plan like other websites
It's an amazing resource for creating all sorts of websites and even your own blog spaces using templates.
The results you can achieve with Squarespace are fantastic. They provide you with the in-depth analytics too so that you know where to tweak to make your website work more efficiently.
Fist of the number you call tells you to talk with them on the computer. To top things off you don't even know who is on the other end. The communication with em them are very poor. They have held on to my refund over three months and still have not received it. This company should be out of business

I appreciate Squarespace's versatility and scalability, offering a range of plans to suit different needs and budgets. Moreover, the platform's e-commerce capabilities, SEO tools, and analytics features ensure that my website not only looks great but also drives results for my business. With Squarespace, I can bring my creative ideas to life and build a website that stands out from the crowd.
We have always purchased domains through Google Domains until Square Space bought that business. So, we purchased two domains via Square Space with WHOIS and Information set to "private." After the purchase and within two hours, the phone calls started to pour into my phone...15 in one day with "website Designers" referencing one of the domains I just purchased. Do Not trust this company unless you purchase the domains from a third party. So disappointing.

I appreciate the responsive design and built-in features like e-commerce functionality and analytics. Squarespace has simplified the process of building and managing websites, allowing me to focus on content creation
SquareSpace offers one the ability to make a website with the purpose of selling a good or product to customers. As opposed to other sites, SquareSpace is a little tricky to navigate. Price for SquareSpace services are higher than competition such as Weebly. However, SquareSpace offers a lot more features than most of the competition.
I found it to be terribly difficult to use when I tried it a little over a year ago -- prohibitively so. I have a friend who uses it, so I intended to do so, but even the simplest things were terribly difficult. Pretty templates, but not worth the effort.
SquareSpace has a rating of 2.9 stars from 27 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. SquareSpace ranks 22nd among Website Builder sites.
