II really like the concert as it makes finding accommodation very easy. And that you can always be in contact with the staff who support you at all times. However, what I personally find very difficult is that most flats are booked very blindly. Without really getting to know the landlord beforehand and being able to talk to them once. This is only possible once the first booking has been made and, to put it bluntly, there is no way out of the contract. Even if you want to book a room in a shared flat, there is no way to get information about the flatmates beforehand. Only when the contract is finalised. This made my search much more difficult and affected my decision a lot.
They respond to emails very quickly with accurate information. They're also very helpful throughout the entire process.

I rented an apartment through this platform. In the listing, it was clearly stated that there was no deposit required. However, when I contacted the landlord, they requested a deposit. I had no problem with paying a deposit, but I wanted to do it with Spotahome's involvement and make use of the service I paid for, since ensuring this process is one of their main responsibilities. I repeatedly filled out complaint forms on their website, called their phone numbers, and sent emails. They never reply.
After renting the apartment and paying them their service fee, it becomes almost impossible to get in touch with them. On top of that, they charge you between €300 and €500 and provide absolutely no support or service in return. I personally did not face an issue with the apartment itself, but if I had, there would have been no one to contact.
I absolutely do not recommend this platform.

I rented several months using Spotahome for it and yhe experiencie was great, listings, UI quality and simplicity. Having more powerful budget filters would be excellent. Some landlords request a fee, others not, when searching for accommodation for months I have a fixed budget and I only care about the final costs of the period, not just the original price per month and I need to review each home one by one, compute the budget and then choose, it is possible to make the user waste less time in that scenario.

I was looking for accommodation in Milan for about a week and used Spotahome to send requests. It was quite difficult because many landlords only accept tenants for at least a semester, which makes it complicated for people like me who only need a place for 2–3 months. Another thing I noticed is the amount of communication: I received a lot of emails and WhatsApp messages from the platform. Honestly, it would be much easier if the updates were limited to the essentials — for example: "landlord accepted or rejected your request" and the details about payment. That would make the process much clearer and less overwhelming. That being said, in the end everything worked out and I was able to secure my accommodation. I really appreciate Spotahome for making it possible, and overall I'm satisfied with the result.

It was ok, although I did not know which floor, or which street in Madrid. I am not even sure if the washing machine is inside the apartment or i have to share it with other apartments.
Then I receive an e mail with a link that took me to a different page, that I don't know if it is Legit, and asking for numbers. Even this one asks me for a Booking reference, and is not a page from Spotahome

Servizio molto utile, gestito bene e sembra affidabile. Ho notato un po di carenze nella visualizzazione della mappa della città con gli annunci, un po macchinosa. Magari potrebbe essere utile sapere qualcosa su chi è presente all'interno della casa. Altra cosa utile, una pianta della casa potrebbe aiutare a capire effettivamente come funzionano gli spazi perchè spesso vengono nascosti i difetti attraverso le foto.

I tried booking through other platforms and wasted three months with no success. Tenants didn't reply, and many of the advertised rooms were already booked. It was a mess. With Spotahome, I found a room within a few days. The process was very smooth, and the prices were completely reasonable for the market. THe worst platform I have ever booked with - first, their bookings are binding (as opposed to other platforms), custmer service is slow, snotty and not helpful. It is impossible to reach them. The landlord has still not received the rent, and we can't figure out why. DO NOT USE!

Worst Platform Experience Ever
This platform is a scam. They charge commissions for nothing, provide zero support, and completely ignore their users. I faced multiple issues, and they did absolutely nothing to help. They promise to refund the deposit, but that's just false advertising. I never got mine back — despite emailing them multiple times and even sending photos of the room both when I arrived and when I left. Still, no response at all.
This is a dishonest and unreliable platform that only cares about taking your money. I absolutely do not recommend it. One of the worst platforms I've ever dealt with.

I booked an apartment in Valencia via Spotahome as a surprise for my wife. The listing said €1,200 per month, and I paid that amount along with a €482 service fee. But shortly after paying, the landlord demanded an additional €1,500 deposit — something that wasn't clearly mentioned beforehand. Worse yet, I was then informed that all residents had to pass identity verification — but this information came only after payment was completed, which completely ruined the surprise I had planned. One of the verifications didn't go through, yet Spotahome kept the full amount and refused to cancel or refund the booking. I've now submitted multiple cancellation requests, and it's been two days with no proper response. Their support is extremely slow and unhelpful. Not a service I would recommend — especially if you're planning something special.
