Lousy service

I ordered a box of hot tub filters. This company sent me a totally different model than the one I ordered. They admitted that was an error, but said my order was for the wrong filter size anyway, and refused to pay for return shipping for their erroneous shipment.
Needless to say I found my filters elsewhere. You should too.

This is what I get for trying to save a few bucks. I used spa daddys filter finder option. Put in the filter number and ordered what their web sit recommended. Filters did not fit, which sounds like every other review. Don't waist your time and money.

It seems that this company is making money off of sending customers the wrong orders. I placed my order online & they sent my confirmation to the wrong email address. When I contacted them to ask where my confirmation was, they said they sent it. Again, it was the wrong email address! After receiving my order, I called them & told them that they sent me the wrong filters. The lady that I spoke with said, "you are the one that placed the order. No one here clicked your computer!" After having to pay the return shipping fee, they also charged me a restocking fee, even though the filter packages were never opened. This is outrageous! I recommend that you stay clear of this rip-off company!

Had gotten wrong filter at local spa dealer and bad advice re. Replacing all for 2x the price of the part at Spa Daddy. Part was shipped to me without expedite in 36 hrs from Michigan to California.

Best Service ever.

DON'T EVER BUY FROM THEM

I used their website to order replacement hot tub filters. I put in the make and model of my hot tub and ordered the filters it said to. When they arrived, THEY WERE WRONG. When I called customer service, they said their tool is only a guideline, and I am responsible for the mistake. They were rude and HIGHLY defensive and aggressive!

Scam company

Save your $$ and never buy from them! Returned an unused item that they claimed was used and refused to credit me. When I asked them to return the item I paid for, they said they disposed of it.

On the Spa-Daddy website, I did a search for a specific part number (Waterway 817-0131). The search provided two results- one regular and one microbrial and it was slightly cheaper than other websites. I placed my order which was promptly delivered. Unfortunately, the filters I received were short, for a different filter. They were NOT equivalent to the specified Waterway part number in the search. The very confusing thing is that a search for a specific part number provides a part which does not fit and is smaller than OEM. What I didn't notice at the time of order was that the correct equivalent was also listed, but I had to scroll way down to see it. Their return policy is fairly typical but I didn't want to deal with it.

One needs to be very careful with this website and know exactly what is needed. Don't rely on their search providing the most relevant part.

Spa-Daddy blames the manufacturer "a lot of the manufacturers do this multiple listing for their part numbers (Hayward and Pentair do 4 or more, all with different lengths), we list all the specs in our cart."

If you shop here, don't rely on a specific part number like you can on reputable websites.

By the way, do NOT believe the coupon websites which suggest coupon codes for Spa-Daddy. After purchase, I received an email saying they do not honor any discounts/coupons/promo codes, claiming those are all fake - first time that has happened to me. Feels like a third party bait to direct internet traffi to them.

I used the companies cross reference for a filter order. The information online was wrong and the wrong filters were sent. When I returned them, I was told that if I was in the business I would know I had to go further to make sure I had the right product. They would not refund my cost to ship back or admit anything they did was wrong. FURTHERMORE - SHILO, IN CUSTOMER SERVICE INSISTED SHE GO ON A 3 MINUTE RANT TO TELL ME HOW THEY WERE DOING ME A FAVOR TO GET ME THE CORRECT PRODUCT AND HOW WROMG I WAS IN ORDERING! I then called back to speak to the head of customer service who told me she complimented SHILO on how she handled me. THIS COMPANY IS THE EPITOMY OF POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WOULDN'T USE THEM AGAIN IF THEY WERE THE LAST FILTER COMPANY ON EARTH! As a consumer remembers this, a couple dollars less on the front end cost 10 fold on the back end when they screw up your order.
