Guardian Soulmates is a dating site run by the Guardian newspaper. Their membership numbers are mostly made up of Guardian readers
The site has a very small number of members when compared to larger UK dating sites. However, that this is really a niche dating site for those with a little more culture running through their veins.
There's a large number of Nigerian scammers on the site. I wish they would have better profile moderation process.
Membership cost:
£32.00 - 1 month subscription
£65.97 - 3 month subscription
£101.94 - 6 month subscription
Joined Guardian soulmates, it was one of a number of dating sites that I tried out. Would say stay away if you are underemployed. I am very well educated but setting up my own business and didn't have enough money for the likes of the people on the guardian website.
Men who earn way above the national average e.g. 45k upwards expect their date not only to be physically attractive but to match them income wise. I also found men who were on the guardian website more flaky than other websites. I won't be going back on it, however I won't be going back on online dating full stop.
So disappointed with this app, I live in London and there are no suggestions for meeting anyone who lives close/ish! Like I wanna travel to Derby 33£ for one month scandalous..
