Ronell Clock Company

Our TimeWorks clock motor had been broken for a while but each time I tried to figure out what new motor to order, the technicality drove me nuts and I gave up. I don't know the names of clock motor guts parts to measure! Luckily, I hit upon Ronell. The website had very clear contact info, and got a reply the same day explaining how to figure out what I needed, as well as helpful links to three options. The part arrived today and my clock works like a dream!

I recently placed an order with this company. The order confirmation page stated my cc would be charged a certain amount. I subsequently received an email which confirmed the order but added additional handling and shipping charges above the original authorized charge. When I cried foul, the company responded thus "Unlike Amazon who is subsidized by your tax dollars, we can not offer free shipping. No where on our site to we make that claim."
My contention is that the invoice amount is the contracted amount and any add-on charges should be approved by the customer. Apparently Ronell feels free to do as they wish with my credit card account. I won't do business again with this company given this deceptive practice and suggest others stay away as well.

I am a woodworker a lately I've used Ronell Clock Co. As a parts supplier. Their inventory is very impressive, prices are quite competitive and customer service is very personalized. I recently ordered 3 clock faces and when they came they had Arabic numerals when I'd ordered Roman numerals. I sent them an email on Saturday (they're closed) and on Sunday, still closed, (yes, Sunday), I got a call from a senior person telling me that he'd checked the co. Emails, saw mine and wanted to let me know he'd fix the problem the next day. He did. That's personalized service.

Being in the clock repair business for decades is an effective way to learn which supplier(s) to use and recommend as well as those best avoided. I've dealt with Roland and his staff at Ronell Clock Company for several years. They keep a good inventory at competitive prices and ship fast at a reasonable cost. Whenever I call I'm always treated with respect and greeted with a genuine appreciation for my business. Ronell Clock Company has my endorsement, and my business.

1st Time Customer.
I purchased 3 small battery operated Quartz Clock Movements including clock hands and sweep second hands through their website. The purchase total indicated shipping charges would be determined later but I went ahead and paid via CC assuming the shipping charges for a small item could not be that much. After completing the on-line purchase I decided to call Ronell Clock Company to confirm shipping charges and shipping details as there was not any information regarding shipping time on the web site. The person on the phone was not only very knowledgeable and helpful but very pleasant at the same time. I would strongly encourage any first time customers to do as I did and follow-up your on-line order with a phone call and I think you will be pleasantly surprised. I have purchased similar clocks from other on-line vendors and have paid sometimes 3 times as much for the same item. Clock prices at Ronell Clock Company are the best I have seen for small quantities. Shipping is generally completed within the same day. From my experience this is a quality business and while ordering on-line is the best way to order try calling to confirm your order a couple hours later as they will have all your order information and I think you will be very pleased.
