SCAMMERS, bought a bike from overstock thru Road Bike Oulet and the bike came damaged, Overstock and Road Bike Outlet refuse to help they expect me to pay $405 and not get a perfect new bike. So i called Road Bike oulet and they told me to use nail polish or paint and fix it myself with $15 credit, LOL. Both Overstock and Road Bike Outlet are scammers and shouldnt be in business in the USA. Plus they charge a restock fee and a return shipping fee when its not the consumers fault. STAY AWAY from Overstock and Road Bike Outlet
ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO CONTACT THEM AGAIN
I ordered a bike after carefully measuring ACCORDING TO THEIR POSTED CHART, the bike was ridiculously large, like for an over six foot person when it is the size recommend for a 5'6 foot person. The one time out of dozens that I called that someone answered she lied and told me she was sending the return authorization number. Sent an email but without anything to help me return it. Of course knowing that they don't answer their phone, their online chat or answer emails. I emailed them and nothing. In the mean time, since I thought I was getting a return I reordered the smaller size and now can't cancel that order since they have no communication with customers after they get your money. By the way, the bike looked okay for the price but the claim that everything you need is there is not true so make sure you have tools. Mine was missing the tool to put the disc breaks on the wheel and and a bottle of lubricant that it said goes inside the handle bars. And pay attention to their return policy. They will charge shipping both ways (EVEN IF THE SIZE IS THEIR CHART'S MISTAKE!) and give themselves the right to only refund as little as 50%.
IF PEOPLE ARE INTERNATIONAL ABOUT STIFFING CUSTOMERS OR JUST NEGLIGENT, IS IRRELEVANT BECAUSE IN THE END THE RESULTS ARE THE SAME FOR THE CUSTOMERS AND FOR THE FUTURE SUCCESS OF THE COMPANY.
Answer: I got a bike. It wasn't the right size. I received one answer in the phone in two dozen calls ( after dozens more I realize getting an answer was a fluke) and she said she was sending the return number but didn't. They can say whatever they want cause they don't answer phone, online chat or email once they have your money. Bad at business or scammer or both? I don't know. I just know that the result is that I'm stuck with a bike that is only too large because their chart is inaccurate and they don't care about customers after they get your money.
Answer: Prices. But not worth any money to deal with a company that claims to have returns but makes it impossible
Answer: It doesn't happen. They ignore all phone, online chat and emails once they have you money.
