Ebates.ca is a total rip-off. I wrote in to them and complained about missing cash-backs on purchases (and I did not use abusive or bad language) and they just closed my account and I lost all the cash-backs that Id been saving. Ive since switched to Great Canadian Rebates which has a slightly higher cash back value and so far, Ive found them to be more reliable and honest about giving cash-backs.
I have made almost $600 since I joined Ebates less than two years ago. The app is easy to use and the customer service is fantastic. On more than one occasion I have been granted cashback as a courtesy and token of goodwill when I didn't actually qualify for cashback with my purchase. If you make online purchases then this app is a must have!
Michelle was absolutely fabulous to work with. She responded swiftly after my initial email regarding a retailer not posting any cash back after several months. Michelle went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me. In the end the retailer claimed the product I purchased wasn't covered under the program but I knew differently. (It was a special 3x the amount offered for a short period of time). Even though Ebates wasn't liable in any respect, they posted to my account the percentage the retailer normally offered. I am very grateful to them. They didn't have to step up but they chose to put ME, the customer first. This was a big ticket item which meant a lot of monies coming back to me if the retailer had played fair. I have nothing but praise and admiration for Ebates.ca. Thank you
Rakuten is the best app to get cashback on almost e every brand which are popular. They have list of thousand of brands (included video) and they have a refer to friends program as well.
What a pile of crap i signed up for Ebates.ca i shopped through ebates on E bay and Amazon i recieved no miles or the $5 bonus Bite me Ebates.
Couldn’t believe at the beginning that I will actually get money back. After 2 years of using this site in Canada already got over 200 CAD back.
