Worst, pathetic, unreliable... i have placed an order to deliver to india 10 days advance of rakhi day but it never delivered. The customer service phone was worst and response was even bad. Don't shop on this site! Shame on them..
I placed order on rakhimela.com. On the website it shows three tabs to place orders for US, UK and India. But the bottom line is that all orders are processed from India and takes very long time. When i placed an order and realized the same, I called them up on US, Indian, and Australian customer service number but got two responses- "Lines are temporarily busy" "The number has been disconnected." The emails sent to their email address also bounced back. They have the policy of order cancellation within 24 hours, but with such nonsensical customer service once you place your order you are basically done with the money and they process order as and when they feel like! NEVER shop here!
This site does not even deserve ONE STAR! Today is Rakhi and sad enough i live far from my brother so i place in order on this site and what do they do? 1st the things i placed in order didn't get there on time even though they said it will before the Rakhi day. 2) The stuff that i order wasn't the same. They charged me more Money for cheap and Crappy qualities. Forget about sending the cheep stuff but it wasn't even similar. It's not about the money it was about the face i saw on my little nephew, he was so disappointed (Twice). Even Last year, same thing happen, they end up sending the different stuffs then promise. 3.) THERE is no email address (customer service) where i can reach them. They are not even picking up the phone. It keep saying the VM is full so i can't even leave a message. There is no way of reaching them. And i am so Mad about this. I WILL NEVER SHOP on this site. People Please Read the Review. I wish i could have read the reviews before hand.
The day I was ordering Rakhis from Rakhi mela, there was an issue on their website and my order did not go through. I also got a call from the Cust. Serv. To let me know of this problem. He asked me to order rakhis again. I did so. But then the previous order went through, and I got 2 confirmations sent to my hotmail.
I called the cust. Serv. To fix this. He told me he has taken care of it. But he did not. Both the orders went out, and I was charged twice for the same set of Rakhis. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE, save your money and go to a different website.
These guys promise you one thing on the phone but turn a blind eye to their promise, making a fool of you.
Like their service a lot. Ordered a Raki Saturday night to India and it was received Tuesday morning. The expected time was 5 days but it reached early. The tracking system is also quite good, they even let you know through which courier they are sending with their tracking no. I was quite satisfied with their service.
My sister ordered for a rakhi and sweets and still this people are not even delivering it... and no one picks up the phone at the custormer care and seriously it is a hopeless site... please dont book any orders at this site... BEWARE
Rakhimela.com their service has really deteriorated over the years. It used to be much better but this year I placed order for four rakhis on their website they shipped two and the other two there was no update for 4 days. Their customer service was completely not reachable and just stressed us out. There is no update on tickets you raise too. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE.
Its the worst site to send rakhi to india. They charged me for giftwrap and never delivered the same. I'l never shop rakhi from this site. Even the rakhi delivered in india was not the same which i bought from this site.the rakhis delivered are of cheap qualities..
DID NOT DELIVER THE RAKHIS AS ORDERED. THE PICTURES ARE BEAUTIFUL BUT THE ACTUAL PRODUCT DELIVERED WAS FAR INFERIOR, JST A THREAD WITH A A BALL IN THE END. IT WAS SHAMEFUL. THIS IS CHEATING AND FRAUD. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO USE THIS WEBSITE.
Last year also not get one rakhi... this year also not get 1 rakhi set... very very disappointing. And also not pickup the phone calls.
