I just wanted to exchange a small sweater to a Medium size. Don't even think of it! You get a run around (various). I expected to keep the sweater and had hung it in the closet. When I went to wear it it looked a bit snug. A lot of dead-ends and wasted time before getting connected to anyone who could help.
There was supposedly a 20% discount on my sweater but it didn't show up when i was about to place the online order. I called two different customer service representatives and they said not to worry, the discount would apply after the order went through. It sounded like BS but with two different people saying it I went ahead and placed the order. Sure enough there was no discount. When I called again, this time they said the sweater was already on sale and I couldn't "stack discounts." But the 20% discount offer said nothing about this. Pendelton did offer to cancel my order but their false advertising really rubs me the wrong way.
Tried to have a blanket repaired after purchasing over ten and it was sent back
Telling me I need to dry clean it before a possible repair.

Last Sunday I went online and found a lovely sweater on sale at Pendleton. I had been waiting to splurge on something, and this was the dream sweater! I saw it would look nice with two shirts, so I decided to get them, as well. I made my order and was very happy. Monday I got email one of the shirts not available. Odd, as I hadn't been told that when I ordered but at least I was getting my sweater! WELL, Wed I got an email saying my sweater no longer available. I find this very shoddy service, as if I had originally known I would have tried to order sizes up, or gotten a different sweater. I did receive the lone turtle neck today, Sat, and I wonder if Pendleton were purposefully deceptive, just to sell this turtle neck? I will never buy from them again! I have done a lot of online shopping at many venues, and this is the first time this ever happened! Really so sad about this, as I assumed Pendleton was respectable name, and I found it was not. I complained about this and never heard back. I hoped someone would suggest other sweaters, or let me know the size up was available, but I conclude their customer service does not care about their customers! I recently had a situation with another well known retail company, and they treated me respectfully and graciously, easily resolving my issue. There are many companies that I want to do business with, Pendleton is not one of them!
