One of the best browsers in the outer space absolutely. I always use it to test out several different things in my tests for websites. And it works perfectly and clearly. Let's hope it will be only better from this space entirely and absolutely!
I love the fact that the browser has a built-in ad blocker, it is very fast compared to similar products and it is very easy to navigate through the browser. It is a light program that takes up little space on the computer. The bro is equipped with many inbuilt user friendly features such as checking WhatsApp, Telegram, or even Instagram. IMO: the only disadvantage is It uses Google search engine, but does not have features like Google lens.
This review is specifically for the opera browser - not the other portions of the site.
I use opera. It has built in ad-blocking which seems to frustrate some sites (which I love). Some sites even beg me to allow their ads through. No. I hate ads.
Opera does everything I need it to as a web browser. For me it is better than Chrome or Firefox.
I'm not sure what's going on with the other reviews. It's starting to make me doubt SJ's legitimacy. Why are they all the exact same review?
REASONS TO USE
[1] Ad blocking
[2] Provides features you've come to expect in a browser
[3] Free
REASONS TO LOSE
[1] You like lots and lots of extensions and extra things added in. Lots of quirky little extensions aren't currently made for Opera to include SiteJabber's extension. That's unfortunate.
Updates without permission, Blocks your review logins because they want to identify you so u cannot do it anonymously, very slow to load up under win7, lacking addons that firefox has. Their proxy is no proxy.
Why they are asking irs want to see the proof that is your real bank account that's you who investing in capital focus all things I can understand but why I need to invest 500$ again and again
A great lightweight browser for everyday use, completely free of charge. The thing some people may not like about it - the browser lacks many extensions.
Opera web browser has been around since 1994 and gets its roots from a Norwegian telecommunications company before forming its own company Opera Software ASA in 1995. What can I say about this browser? More like, What can I not say. This latest Opera build is sleek and stylish with well thought out design and function. Kick on the dark theme and suddenly slickness and style become sophisticated. There are a ton of bells and whistles including FREE VPN with no data limit, free ad block, duck duck go default search engine doesn't log your searches, turbo mode when not using the VPN, start screen called Speed Dial has your most frequented sites at the ready. Also stunning "live" wallpaper for the speed dial screen. Free screen shot capture. A side bar that's transparent and out of the way containing quick access to messenger, what's ap, bookmarks, my flow, settings and more. All easily customizable from the settings menu. I love it. It's safe, reliable, offers tons more options and is pleasing to the eye. These are just a few of the things you get with Opera. You ought to try it and judge for yourself. They don't track you, what do you have to lose?
Opera browser is a PIECE OF GARBAGE! Opera is in bed with Google and it's adblocker doesn't block Google advertisement. If you care about your privacy than don't use Opera, it's trash. Avoid at all cost.
Opera is a solid and fast browser. I can install most chrome extensions with the Opera extension "Download Chrome Extension", sync my settings with Opera Account, the Speed Dial is awesome and can be customized, it works on Windows, Mac, Linux and there are mobile versions for Android and iOS as well. The News section is an easy way to access my favorite news sites. It's an awesome browser without the bloat of Firefox and Chrome and works way better than Edge and the old IE.
What I find especially valuable is the built-in adblocker and the VPN with server locations spread across the globe and the tab preview looks awesome.
It's an exceptional, very user-friendly with lots of functions, features and settings. It's one of the best alternative broswers and that's not an alternative fact ;)
No way to turn off updates so you have to use task manager to terminate them. They block you making reviews for their add-ons. Hard to login and make any review.
Answer: There are several ways to troubleshoot this, First the obvious, is Speed Dial enabled (this may sound stupid but it happens that this functions disables itself due to an update yet it's very rare but possible) http://www.wikihow.com/Enable-Speed-Dial-in-Opera Hardware Acceleration issue: >>Go to "Edit" -> "Preferences" -> "Browser". >>Scroll down to "Advanced settings" and check "Show advanced settings". >>A "System" section will show up. Uncheck "Use hardware acceleration when available". >>Restart Opera Malwarebytes user? Try disabling Anti-Exploit protection for Opera and restart browser Backup your bookmarks, passwords, extensions (in case you don't use Opera account to sync your settings) and Uninstall and Reinstall. Good Luck!
