So if you have the app, it sends you personalised offers. But time and again in the years I've been a nectar customer, those rewards don't come. The latest is, spend over £10 on eBay more than 3 times and get £5 worth of points on the next three transactions.abive £10 before the end of April. It takes 28 days to get the points after the offer finishes. I've spoken to them via live chat and resolved and they are asking for proof of the offer and the transactions. Why? My card is registered on eBay because I've used it to purchase on their and receive basic points. The treat you like you are lying and have to prove everything. It should be simple if you accept the offer but not with nectar. Don't bother use aldi or Lidl much cheaper and Sainsbury's food quality has really gone downhill. Robbing people of a few points is desperate!
I provided all the necessary security information but it was like they were just carrying on with question after question to find the one, (an inappropriate one), that I was not sure about, ie the year I registered the card, which was so long ago I could not answer correctly.
They then said, finally, that I had failed their security questions. They also failed to send me details of their complaint procedure, which I requested. It appears to me Sainsbury's do want their customers claiming their cash back!
I have used Nectar partner offers on several occasions. Each time, the points are not added. When you are able to reach Nectar, they refer you to the partner organization who confirm that it is Nectar who need to add the points to your account. When you go back to Nectar, they have a **different** answer: that you didn't use their link correctly. Obviously you cannot prove this, especially if some time has passed.
Endless roundabout and just not worth the time and effort.
I get nectar points every time i buy off e bay, the more i pay for an item, the more nectar points i get. I cashed in 1,000 points for a £5 voucher which i spent on e bay, The points soon mount up depending on how much you spend. Brilliant :)
Nothing not to like about Nectar! Love the new chat service, very helpful when losing my card!
