Why get rid of firefox browser

I got updated by firefox? It wiped out nearly all my addons,? It disabled add this, it $#*!ed up downloaders and deleted net downloader, when i asked for a reference page to delete it from linux and return to old firefox? Guess how many had asked same / simalar question? 8.1 million
