Enjoyable experience
March 23, 2019

Had a great experience and staff both helpful and knowledgeable. In fact visited twice, went away after trying on four expensive jackets but there was no hard sell' the first time. Gave me time to think and then went back again and purchased the right jacket for me after getting good advice. I don't think the free coffee is a gimmick, it just makes the shopping experience more pleasant as you're likely to be spending big money! Very friendly staff and I'll happily go back and buy again. Worth visiting.

I'm a returning customer-
Last shop was: gloves, boots, heated liner etc etc
Top quality goods- no, seriously.
You're going to have to pay for it- but you will get the best price for the best equipment.
I've still got stuff I bought 10 years ago!

I recently returned a leather jacket to Motolegends for repair. The Halvarrsons jacket was bought from them in 2014 and was still going strong until the main zip started to break. Testament to the jacket that it's still my "#1goto" and testament to Motolegends that they were still prepared to offer/arranged a third party repair service which was effective, neat, speedy and well priced. They also kept me updated of the progress throughout and arranged very speedy despatch back to me via DPD (my favourite courier provider). Top marks to the Team!

2nds sold as new
December 17, 2018

Nearly £2k spent over the past couple of years, my last order was a Halverson jacket. It arrived missing it's tags and with a repair note in the pocket. The response to my complaint.
"There was huge demand for these jackets at this price and was a waiting list for some sizes. A small number of new ones with minor defects (usually the wrist strap) were returned. These were then repaired by Halvarssons repairers to meet some of the outstanding orders."
No apology, just yes it's 2nd hand full stop.

Moto L. Motolegends Rep
over a year old

We did not send out a second-hand or used garment to this customer. Of this we can be totally confident. We purchased the last 500 examples of this particular fleece from Halvarssons at a cost that allowed us to offer them to customers at half the current retail price. About a dozen of them had an issue where the plastic tab that forms part of the Velcro adjuster had come unstuck. It’s not an uncommon fault with this garment and, over the years, we’ve repaired quite a number. We sent off all the fleeces with this fault to Halvarssons’ official repairer to have it rectified. In fact, they repair them to a better than new standard, because they stitch rather than glue the two halves of the plastic tab together. This customer suggests that, because he found our docket regarding the repair in a pocket, the garment was, in some way, second hand, whereas all it indicates is that we failed to remove the paperwork from the pocket. An administrative mistake, but not a crime. And really not something that justifies a one-star review. As soon as we received the complaint, we immediately offered a full refund, which seemed a fair response. Cannot fail to notice however that, of this customer’s 12 Google reviews, nine are one or two stars. He is clearly very unlucky with his dealings.

What a joke!
July 5, 2022

What a joke!

Went to the store with the intention of potentially spending thousands to replace my gear that was just wrecked on an accident last week. Couldn't even get inside!

Some kid came out, tried to give me a ticket and said I wasn't allowed in because there was somebody else already in the store, WTH?

I have never known a motorbike store like it, mental! So, seemingly that's indicative of how much customers are valued, so I turned around and left too go spend my money elsewhere.

What a joke!
Wish I could post ZERO stars.__________________

Publicly trying to shame a disgruntled customer over a negative review…

Wow!

They may well have knowledgeable staff (I didn't get that far to find out), but that doesn't mean (as they claim) that nobody else in the industry knows as much as they do, sounds rather arrogant to me.

I've been a biker for 25 years and had excellent service from J&S and Infinity. At both stores (J&S and Infinity) I was greeted politely and then left to browse in peace, when I had questions staff were courteous, helpful and knowledgeable, I'd thoroughly recommend both stores over MotoLegends, especially after what they have done today.

Yes, your their choice how they choose to operate, however that should be made clear their website or perhaps choose a different company name like:

"The you can't browse anything here, we won't even let you in the shop until we have sales staff ready to escort you around shop"

As a customer I want to opportunity to look around in peace before being hounded my sales staff no matter how knowledgeable they think they are. It's as if they think customers no nothing about the kit they are looking at.

They didn't even have the decency to contact me direct to rectify the situation after I left in disgust the first time.

Instead they chose to attack the content of my character in a public forum on Facebook. It was a fellow biker who saw what they have done and thought to contact me and make me aware of what motolegends had done today.

So I repeat my question, is this really the kind of company you would want to spend your hard earned money with?

What a joke!
