Go to check other websites for the price of the same product. Moma sells a Herman Miller's Wilkes Modular Sofa Chair for $1995 or $1795 for member price. But the exactly same chair's regular price at Herman Miller's website is only $1695 and is now discounted for $1440.75.
I have been here like 3 times and each of them has been truly special. Every floor hypnotizes you. It's a great experience and an inspirational place, I lost the sense of time when I was at the MoMA. I daydream with working there someday.
My last visit was on May 2016 and I hope I can go back soon!
I love contemporary art exhibitions. That's how I found the Museum of Modern Art. I think, this is one of my favorite museums. There are many beautiful works to consider.
The room is also very beautiful, I like to move along these corridors.
But the Museum of Modern Art website isn't very convenient it was difficult for me to find information. It's sad
I just learned about this site by receiving a Fathers' Day card from my ex-wife, bless her a bunch.
Heck, it's still early, lotsa you SiteJabber users could sent your fathers a Fathers' Day card too! (Actually, they don't have strictly Fathers' Day cards, just lotsa great art that can be sent as e-cards with your hand-written (so to speak) message. Go for it!
(And thanks, Kathleen!)
PS -- copy and paste this link for the e-card portion of the moma site: http://www.moma.org/ecards/
I could go any (or every) season of the year to the MoMA and I'll still love it. There is so much creativity and inspiring works that it's hard to say that something "bored" me. The curators do a great job! I took a course taught by the great Sarah Meister, I loved it and every time I have been at the museum, I always hope to see her haha
On my last trip to NYC, I decided to visit the MOMA and it was one of the best decisions. They have masterpieces, and concretely, my favorite painting of all times: the Starry Night by Van Gogh. Also, they have a gift shop with the cutest souvenirs! And let's not forget their outside stairs, it's like being part of the tv show Gossip Girl!
This is hands-down one of my favorite arts museums, in the city or elsewhere. It's not for everyone, as it tends towards (as the name says) modern art, so if you don't like modern art, then go to the Met instead. This museum has an exhaustive number of permanent exhibits and some famous paintings, such as Dalí's The Persistence of Memory, as well as fantastic temporary exhibits (a few years ago they had an exhibit dedicated to Tim Burton, and they also had a life artwork performance by Marina Abramoviç). Some of the art is more interpretive, which I think is wonderful and makes the art consumer engage with the art in a more thoughtful manner.
This is my favorite museum. I've been here several times and have always been amazed. Every floor is special. I highly recommend visiting it at least once
Love the MOMA. They constantly have new installations and the staff is always very engaging and knowledgeable. Great place to spend an afternoon learning and enjoying.
It is a great museum, although it seemed to me that they did not have enough measures for the covid, anyway I liked it a lot, it has a great selection of works that I loved.
