Bought my son an expensive Osprey travel bag for Christmas. It arrived wrapped with only thin plastic - no useful protection whatsoever - and even with that crappy material had not been properly sealed. Corner of bag was abraded and dirty. I contacted the company, and was met with stony silence. NEVER purchasing from them again. Much better companies to choose from, take yor business elsewhere.
The company posts a banner across their website that states 1 day 20% off. They refuse to honor their advertising providing all kinds of excuses from we can't give that discount, no detail on the exclusions and no note that states prices already reflect the discount which is what they claim. Their customer service is joke and full of excuses.
DO NOT BUY from them. Buy from a reputable company. They also have terrible glassdoor reviews and the poor reviews on yelp have been excluded from their ratings calculations.
I travel all the time for work and for fun and go through luggage like toilet paper rolls. So I'm always looking for low-cost replacements. I bought a dufflebag with wheels and it was good and about 50% cheaper than the one I saw at Macy's.
I am highly disappointed in the service from luggage base. I never leave reviews however I purchased and expensive item and when I received the box it was damaged. The person I was suppose to give the item to did not come to the holiday dinner so I had to reorder the bag and have it shipped to their house. I then returned this one and was denied my return because they said the zipper was broken and it was used. I never used the bag. It must have been damaged during delivery however now I am out th emoney. This is unfair. This should have been taken up with the shipping carrier and not penalize your customers. Thanks for nothing. I am highly disappointed.
They are now saying the item was visibly used and had an odor. I ordered this item on 12/15/16 and started return on 12/26/16 when the person didnt show up for christmas. I dont smoke or anything. They are now lying which highly upsets me. Don't use this company!
I purchased a Briggs and Riley spinner from Luggagebase.com and had used it for a trip. I noticed that there was a defect in the wheels. I called Luggagebase and they said that since I've already used it that I would need to contact Briggs and Riley directly for warranty issues. I had a terrible experience going back and forth with Briggs and Riley. Long story short, Briggs and Riley shipped my bag back to me unprotected and all scratched up. I kept dealing with the same lady at Briggs and Riley who wouldn't allow me to speak with anyone else except her and basically blew me off. I decided to call Luggagebase once more to find out if there is anything they can do to help me. And they did. Luggagebase called their contact at Briggs and Riley which resulted in the repair manager at Briggs and Riley contacting me directly. He was the nicest person and didn't hesitate to replace the bag for me. Thank you, Luggagebase for stepping in to resolve my issue with Briggs and Riley. Without their involvement I never would have gotten any resolution.
