Seems more interested in advertising how to save fuel bye putting ketchup in you're fuel tank with pop up adds. Etc etc. Plus could provide actual photos of articals they report on! Very frustrating get dizzy trying to rummage through adverts
I guess this is how they give people news now, lighthearted articles with a touch of real science. It is sad, but it is what it is, and some science is better than none, probably. They cover odd and amusing topics not normally covered. This site often has provocative titles that don't pan out. Arguably bordering on click-bait, this is one of the better ones, actually, so three/five stars.
Used to visit the site quite often, but now it keeps locking up?
Too many ads perhaps?
They all end up here eventually i guess, chase the money with the flashy ad service.
Too slow for me now, anyone know of a good "sciencey" website?
Its a good website that provides easy information and has many credible resources that make it great to read and easy to understand. I used it for a research project for high school and I really liked it would definitely come back and get more information from here.
I used live science most days, loved it! But the advertisements are so overdone now that it has driven me away from your website! Especially that surface pro 7 one with the border, It wont go away and when the border comes up I cant read the sides of the article! Also I wont use your site on my laptop because when I did, it had SO MANY TRACKERS, my computer blocked ridiculous amounts compared to other websites! I'm fine with advertisements but all this is just ridiculous, I was happy using it on my already wrecked phone but that surface pro 7 advertisement just ruins it, also I wont buy magazines because it is wasteful, lost a customer here, the site has turned to garbage;( great news, garbage site.
OK, I realise that for the more scientific-brain types, LiveScience ain't gonna turn you on. But for people like me, who have slightly more than a passing interest, it's golddust. It gives you the sensationalist headlines so that you know what you're dealing with, and it doesn't go too far beyond the layman's level of understanding. What a great way to keep the largely uninformed populus 'accroché' to what is perceived as a complicated and elitist profession. I love it! (BTW, I am referring to the free, onlne version)
Couldn't even read an article because it kept jumping up and down because of advertisements. I blocked it because of it and so should everyone else. Advertisements ruin everything
Could not get through article due to a mosquito attack of pop-up ads. So sad. There is no end to greed, next year they will have even more.
They put out some questionable articles that include articles about UFO's and other things that rlare related to this subject.
Live Science has a rating of 1.7 stars from 11 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Live Science ranks 45th among Science News sites.
