Jmj youth kept $7500 for cancelled packages that were cancelled months prior to service. They claimed they fronted the money already and they made no attempt to rectify. All of the funds raised by our parish were gone in the blink of jmjyouths eyes.

Thank you for allowing us to respond. We understand the efforts your parish has put into fundraising, and how difficult it is when some pilgrims back out of the trip without paying their portion to your church. The agreement that you have had for a year clearly states the deadlines for cancelling pilgrims and submitting information, including the final deadline of March 15th. Despite this, we extended your deadline for payment and information for two months beyond this date. During that time we made final payments to bus companies, universities, hostels, and to the event registration. None of these organizations will refund any money now that we are so close to the pilgrimage dates and passed their cancellation deadlines as well. In addition, we have extended to you two more weeks to find replacements for these cancellations (there is still time), which is holding up the final information begin submitted for other groups in your area as well. We do everything we can in these rare situations and will continue to do so as long as we possibly can.
