Independent Bay Area Restaurant Reviews - This site is great if you want to find a new restaurant to try, or are considering eating at a new restaurant but are wary of having a bad experience. Jason and Terry have gone just about everywhere and give helpful information. Having the vegeterian point of view (Terry's) is great too.
You might first check their ratings and see if your tastes sync with theirs.
I wish the site had the functionality of sorting by city when looking at a particular cuisine. Also, it would be helpful if they gave more hints (or just told us) the Hall of Shame locations.
