I'm so impressed by the service. I received my order the next day with a 1 hour delivery slot so I knew when to be at home. Not only was the packaging recyclable, but it was also really well protected so my materials were in perfect condition (sometimes I find that eco-friendly packaging comes at the expense of a few battered items- not this time!)
I've purchased some oil paint from Jackson's. It was great to be able to choose that I wanted vegan products.
Pricing is very competitive and the order arrived neatly packed.
This is my third purchase from them and won't be the last based on my experience.
Jackson's Art are an online art supplier - although they do have a shop as well in London.
I always go to Jackson's first - because when i've had the time to shop around in the past they've always had the best choice and prices, for the things I tend to buy (linocut stuff, oil painting and watercolour supplies). Very satisfying to use up reward points every now and then as well! I ordered yesterday and today the materials have arrived, beautifully packaged in eco friendly packaging and card... absolutely faultless service. Also love that they often use DPD who are super helpful in letting you know when they're going to arrive! Great website too - loads more product info on their blog as well.
I am an art teacher and part time artist and shop with Jackson's pretty much every month.
I've been buying from Jackson's for around three years now. First colour pencil supplies, then later watercolour paints and supplies and now oil paint and accessories.
In all that time I cannot find a single fault to bring up.
Delivery time in the UK is pretty fast. Almost always faster than predicted. And there packaging is efficient and recycled/recyclable.
The site is user friendly and easy to navigate and the shopping system a breeze.
If you are an artist it is definitely worth checking out- if you're an art content provider even more so as they do affiliate deals too.
I placed an online order for Collect+, but was told I chose the "incorrect" postage option, so the order was returned to them and is now lost in Hermes limbo. As a customer, how am I supposed to know what the incorrect & correct options are, and why on earth does their checkout flow let users choose the "incorrect" postage option? It's now been over a month since I placed the order and I've received neither a replacement order, or a refund. Avoid this company, they're an absolute disgrace.
I am currently working on a few pieces for a show and suddenly realised I had run out of a colour I urgently needed. I ordered yesterday and it's already here. Thank you so much Jackson's. Life savers!
Is there any problem with shipping time? Been waiting for too long, I guess. I'm not in the UK, so I'd like to know how I can find out where my order is. I called to our post office, they say there's no parcel, but the email I received from Jacksonsart claims that the order has arrived. Looks like it's not true.
I wouldn't shop anywhere else. Jackson's always have what I need, plus they have lots of helpful information and product reviews on their blog. My orders always arrive quickly and I love that their packaging is eco friendly.
Toe jacksonsart has become a home-like online place where i regularly come for light shopping and pleasant time-spending.
Recommend this store to anyone interested in arts and stationery
Love shopping here. The experience is amazing and the products rich range makes it my #1 place to go for new art materials.
