Intuit has the most convoluted support process of any company I have ever dealt with. It is painful to get in touch with a knowledgeable person. Any support call advice creates a need to contact support again to get further answers. We sadly recently switched to QBO and now are switching back to desktop and they have made this almost as unpleasant as when we went to QBO. If you have Desktop - stay with it - On Line is hard to navigate and doesn't do a lot of the things desktop does. We switched because the Sales department said payroll was being discontinued. That was not the case.
They tried for months to get me as a customer. Reps were super nice, followed up etc. The day I signed up for Intuit for tax services, they stopped responding, would continue to charge monthly and no agent available to speak with. They are impossible! Now I keep getting a notification that my taxes have yet to be filed and the IRS is on my *ss. Stay far away from this company ad you can! They just take your money but don't provide the service promised!
Excellent service.
Quick response to access problems with locking mechanism. Provided cost and delivery of faulty items. Returned on time agreed and fitted the required item's in efficient manner leaving work area clean and tidy. Would highly recommend Locked-on Locksmith Sevices
I learned my lesson years ago with Quicken online. At the end of the year you pay them for another year or the lock your Data up. I went to Quickbooks Desktop and upgrade every couple years. Obviously Intuit has control issues and now they've decided to force people to renew Desktop every year costing hundreds of dollars and forcing subscribers to pay any price intuit demands. This years I'm looking for Bookkeeping Software which will not hold me and my data hostage. Goodbye Intuit, you used to be the best software, you've now moved to the bottom of the barrel
Love the product and partners they have for both QBO and QBD, Tax1099.com is one such partner that saved my life during busy 1099 filing season. Keep bringing such value added partners to the eco system.
Intuit made a serious mistake putting thousands of dollars of someone else's money in my account. When we tried to return it, they would not accept part of it, and charged us money for refunding the funds they had wrongly put in my account. Months later they began to call, email, and threaten us to pay them, but they did not provide an invoice or any explanation, and it was not even clear to us that the demand was not a scam. I called the investigator who had tried to sort this out, and was told they would sort this out. When I received more threats, I called the phone number on the email, twice, and was told I would get a call back, which never happened. Now they have sent the issue to collections, which they told me they would not do, and they are charging me an additional $500+ dollars. They are not only incompetent but not even attempting to rectify their serious mistakes.
I recently installed the most recent update to Quicken 2014.
When I try to download transactions from a financial institution Quicken 2014 asks for my "Intuit Password."
After I enter a password that should be correct and I get an error message, when I select the line "Forgot password," Quicken immediately terminates.
Quicken as a financial program sucks. Unfortunately, as far as I can tell it is the only program available.
I am running Quicken 2013. I am having difficulties downloading transactions. When I FINALLY got a phone number to call them (they make it very difficult), I was told I had to pay them to help me. I have already purchased the software, now they want me to pay nine dollars and some odd cents to have them support THEIR software? I have never heard of such a thing. This means they can purposely put a bug in the version I am running and make my pay them to help fix it. What a scam.
Do not use Quickbooks. On hold for 1h40m and they still cant activate my account. What a joke. The person helping me had to call the Billing department. She has been on hold for 30 minutes. Can you imagine waiting on hold for 30 minutes when you work at the company? What is going on?
I paid for the service, but it's still saying inactive. They've already processed the $90/month payment, but now are working to get me on my account. Funny how they can process the payment so quickly, but then seem in no rush to re-activate the account. Meh, we'll get to it when we get to it.
The ChatApp "person" wanted my SSN, so I ended that quickly. I've had nothing but problems since working with them. I intend to switch platforms in the near future.
As a single member LLC, Intuit should not have sold me a payroll package since single member LLCs are not required to run payroll.
Additionally, when asked for a refund, Intuit flat refused.
I feel #ripped off.
