I have been trying to cancel this and have my money refunded as I do not and did not want the service do to wallet stolen I am requesting all payments refunded
I was trying to find my father's military records. This site did not list any military service, only showed two of his five children, did not show his marriage to my mother, no work history and showed him living in a town where he never lived. Complete waste of time and money.

I have a Premium membersip with Whitepages.com and have been quite happy on the whole. A week ago I was looking up an old acquaintance...don't know how it happened but I have had popups a few times a day on my desktop from INSTANTCHECKMATE.COM EVER SINCE! I have tried to block it in every way I know possible...except of course I won't contact them, they aare the sleasziest spammer/scammer out there. Do not have anything to do with them; you will regret it.

I was charged over $45 for ba report that when I clicked said $3.99. I'd give 0 stars if possible 3 charges to my bank and literally no real information. Canceled in 5 minutes but they seen to be cookie cutter responses to reviews with no actual resolution

I looked up myself and found out that I used to live in two states I have never even visited, have a criminal history and my report is so disturbing that I need to be at least 18 y.o. To view it. On top of it I am on the Government watch list, but I guess they are looking for me in those two states of my imaginary residence. Well, it's good to know.

This business put my email and password on the dark web. After much difficulty I was finally on the phone with a staff member, but it got me nowhere. Take my advice and don't give them any personal information. I will take matters on my own and get.to the bottom of this. Now I have to change my password. Not a happy camper.

I was notified my email and password was stolen from using this site. They have had a security breach of customer information and have failed to inform those who were affected. My cc company just sent me a message my email and password was for sale on the dark web. I have a monitoring service and they know here it came from

As the statement indicates, the disclosed list primarily included names, emails and phone numbers. It did NOT include payment information, means to compromise customer accounts or evidence user activity (such as search histories).

No marriage on anyone I looked up - all had been married; some multiple times. No death information on people that had been deceased for years. Criminal records not complete - knew of multiple convictions on multiple people that did not show up. Address information incorrect in most cases.

People I don't know, and addresses and phone numbers I don't recognize were inserted into my information. My marital status was nonexistent, which is a problem because I am trying to date. My daughter's information was totally made up! I wouldn't trust that any information is true since mine was so off. This is a dangerous service!

Answer: No, you can't see anyone's call log or texts. At first it was 1.98 to receive access to the report. Then once I paid the 1.98 I selected "access report" (again) then I was promoted to select a membership Lowest being 22$. Most options tell you that you're paying that amount the same day but the cheapest membership didn't say you would be paying the same day but you are. So roughly 24$ to see what you could've found on Google. When you get to the phone log part it says "you're stuck" or some bull crap probably pay more money which is unreal as you have selected a membership already. This is a rip off there's just now around it smh
Answer: Contact your credit card company, tell them that InstantCheckmate is making unauthorized charges to your card; have your credit card company cancel your card and issue you a new one. I know, it sucks. That's what I had to do. For several months I got "declined payment" indicators listed in my online credit statement, which was good, because InstantCheckmate couldn't get their fraudulent charge to go through. The police, the FBI, or FTC or somebody needs to crack down on InstantCheckmate. I guess maybe it'll take a class action lawsuit against them. But really, the wisest thing to do is to cancel your credit card, have a new one issued -- and be extremely cautious and careful from now on to whom and where you use and give your credit card number. I know, it's a pain in the a##! Good luck. Cheers.

Answer: Appears to be feedback manipulation on consumeraffairs.com to me. Notice all of the replies from Instant Checkmate. They had no current or correct info for me other than my childrens names, which I can find easily anyplace.
Answer: I recommend watching your credit card statement for additional charges for a few months. This company is notorious for not cancelling accounts.
