Please take my advice and don't buy anything from this website. Don't be lured by the cheapness of their products. They are pretty sharpish to take your money, but don't hold your breath for your delivery! When they eventually answer your numerous emails, they fob you off with excuses - lost in post, another one sent, not in stock, the list goes on. If you're really unlucky you might find your card has been used fraudulently online, through other review sites I know this to be the case with other customers. Worst shopping experience online ever! AVOID!
Bought the faux lashes. They were better than expected. The product info on the site says each set can be used till upto five occasions but they work longer that that. I am using them for the seventh time now. Prices at this store are very very reasonable for the quality they offer. Fast shipping and good customer service. Will be buying more.
A very good sun screen product. The product claims to protect against ageing and wrinkles. I am not sure I see the results of that yet, only time will have to tell. But the cream itself works good. I use this exclusively when going for a swim. It is water resistant and non-sticky too. These are the best two results I have noticed. Good for people who swim a lot. Got if for a good price too. Thanks for the discounted price the store offers.
This an ultimate set/ product for any fashion conscious woman. I love the pink color which is so girly girly. And all the accessories that come with the styler makes it complete and easy to store or carry around. Results are absolutely salon results. I love the fact that they donate to Breast Cancer awareness on every purchase. Love the styler. Great gift sets at girlznight.uk.
I have had the same problem as countless other people. They never shipped the product! I waited two weeks then emailed then, they said it must have been lost in the post and would send it again. Two weeks later and it still hadn't arrived. It was at this point I read the reviews of the site and realised I would never be getting my item.
Surprisingly it only took one email and they refunded my money straight away. However, I would not recommend that anyone else use them.
The other reviews on this site are all sounding very familiar! I bought a pair of hair straighteners from them which never arrived. When contacted (numerous times!) they were very evasive and eventually told me they would refund me. However, no money has been refunded so far. I am currently trying to chase this up as it really annoys me that they could get away with basically robbing me! I would advise anyone to avoid girlz night like the plague! I am only glad that my card has not been fraudulently used, as has been the case with some other customers of theirs.
I am a hairdresser. This is one of my best investments I have made. And the price is absolutely matchless. The customer service is one of the best I have dealt with as I purchase online a lot due to my handicap. Am really impressed with the store, it's layout and how easy it is to navigate around, the service and fast shipping. The styler in itself is a great buy for the price. Will be buying a couple more for my salon. 5 start rating to the store and product.
I am sorry to say that I have been charged 1100 pounds for a 11 pound hair product. They do not answer emails, and they do not return your money. The hair product has not been received either, though I can afford to loose 11 pounds, but not 1100... This is just sad.
I was very disappointed too. They lied to me, that my order has been sent, i called them every day after one month waiting. They returned my money later, but after that i received some call from the bank, that some one tried to charge illegal my credit card from UK. I didn't buy anything from UK except girlznight. Be careful..
In answer to all the comments below, please ring the salon directly on 0141 ******* (only number that answers and you will get someone called Aileen) and ask to speak with Gerry McGuire. Demand a refund and advise you have spoken with citizens advice/trading standards. They are NOT allowed to keep you're money. They will tell you that royal mail have lost you're order and if you're lucky enough will tell you that they'll send it via FED EX... But if you're fed up just demand you're refund, they'll ask for you're card details (Name on card, Long number on front and Start Date) That do not need the CV2 number on the back. I hope this helps. I can safely say this worked for me, and i'll never use them again.
Answer: Thanks. Firstly I'd note that my comment above was accurate, and no more than cautionary. In my experience here and elsewhere a sudden flurry of positive postings means someone is trying to interfere with the normal flow of events. Soliciting reviews from customers who otherwise would not have provided them, is one such way to destabilize a site's value to its members. The purpose of this site is to offer as reliable a balance of opinion as possible. An unusual degree of reliability would be the ideal goal, in fact, whether that's achievable or not. Deliberately subverting the purpose of the site by soliciting a large number of reviews is also damaging the reliability of every single other review here. If you can't trust one, which can you trust? A reasonable compromise between what's desirable and what's achievable, would be for an honest business owner to solicit at best no more than one positive review from a genuinely positive customer, to balance an existing negative one. To solicit two, is deliberately devaluing all. To solicit a dozen, is ruining the reliability of all. To solicit 30? That's a scam. And it's unnecessary, and the business may well find that the overall balance of opinion becomes so distorted that it's shot itself in the foot, because nobody believes anything positive about it any more. I fully understand the worry of a business owner, seeing that the only review about his business is a negative and unfair one. I understand the desire to balance that, with a positive review, and then let readers decide. I can't support anyone who won't leave it at that, but decides to deliberately outnumber the negative reviews by swamping the column out with solicitations. That negative review may be true. In which case, justice is not being served by trying to marginalize it. You are making the assumption that the person asking for your solicitation does not deserve a bad review - in other words, the other reviewer is lying. Can you be so sure? Why don't they deserve the same degree of exposure as anyone else? We're not stupid, I hope, we're customers ourselves, and we won't be surprised if there are a few bad and a few good reviews for the same business, and we're not obliged to believe any of them, anyway. Let us make our own minds up, please. And I'd say to a business owner, by all means if you're honest and certain that your business is being unfairly represented, come and say so. Unlike some other sites, there is a place here for you to pitch in. Nobody wants self-promotion, as such, but if you're genuinely being misrepresented, nobody here is going stop you from saying so. Several business owners have commented on reviews already, they've not been chucked out because they own the business and don't have a right of reply. Lastly I'd like to add that this is not a "complaints site" as you'll know if you've looked at reviews in any depth. A high proportion are positive reviews and speaking for myself, that's how I like it. You are very welcome, as is anyone, to come and write about sites that have given you good experiences and which you'd like to recommend to others. But without external solicitation. In fact I'd positively encourage it, because if enough people do eventually contribute on both their honest likes and dislikes, one day there might be no temptation to pass off solicited reviews at all. I think to be frank, it's sad that it doesn't occur to people to write good reviews but only to complain. Maybe we can change that? Incidentally I am not an employee or manager of the site and have no connection with it other than as a voluntary reviewer. I have not been solicited to defend the site, it's a project I believe in.
Ghd compare has a rating of 1.9 stars from 20 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Ghd compare ranks 16th among GHD sites.
