On 28th December Chris responded quickly to my request for a gas boiler service and came on the 29th December when he found a gas leak in the underground pipe from the meter to the boiler. Chris established that a new pipe would have to be installed from the front of the garage, which contained large items of furniture, through several walls to around the back of the fridge and ovens to the boiler.
Chris could not come on the 30th but on the 31st December he worked for 8 hours continuously without a meal to install the new long copper gas pipe. Quietly without complaining he moved any obstructions out of the way and then back to leave everything as it was. Chris also moved the gas meter so it was correctly installed to accept a smart meter which was not possible in its previous position.
I thank Chris and give him my wholehearted recommendation.
