Frame It Easy

Frame ends where they cut it were unfinished and had metal shavings in the rails. They told me that is OK and they even provide a warning about their horrible cuts. Frame also has sharp corners and edges when put together properly. I have another custom metal frame from elsewhere that is smooth as silk when taken apart. It is really bad when they have horrible customer service to match their unqualified floor workers.

I used frame it easy to frame a large print I have. Between the cost of the print and the frame it was a fraction of the price I would've paid for art like this from a decor website. I like frame it easy compared to other custom frame sites because they let me choose exact measurements down to 1/16 of and inch between inches. Other sites I found only let you do an even inch, nothing in between. The product itself is high quality and comes with everything you need to hang it. It was also packaged well. I highly recommend this site.

I had a lot of artwork I had to frame during the pandemic and I wasn't sure where to get quality matted frames online that shipped relatively quickly. I ordered two metal frames at first and the site was extremely easy to navigate. I received the frames in a week and the quality was extraordinary. The instructions that came were so easy to follow and the care in the packing was amazing. I had to get additional frames for other artwork, and Frame It Easy was top of the list to do the framing. I ended up getting 2 other metal frames and a wood frame. Again - extremely fast shipping - I received in a week. For hanging, they give you so much extra additional quality hardware to make sure your frames hang just right. Do not hesitate to purchase your frames from here. They are fantastic. Even during these harder pandemic times, they were very communicative and easy to work with.

Ever tried to get a frame right on online? A frame with a mat. Chances are you'll get the wrong size. You have to worry about the photo size, the mat width borders, etc... its a real pain. But if you go to frameitwasy.com they make it so simple and if you have any questions they are the most courteous and friendly bunch I've dealt with on the net. I've had four frames done there and they are all perfect. They come packaged like fort knox too and come with everything you need to get it all the wall.

I reported the broken frame immediately. I was EXTREMELY disappointed as I needed the framed picture up and displayed in advance of a holiday weekend with visitors (Mardi Gras). It took them TWO days to reply. And they said they were unable to quickly ship me a replacement. I assumed, of course, that even tho my replacement wasn't coming Fed-Ex (nor would my visitors see it), it was at least coming by mule. But NO... They said they were waiting on me to "approve" the slower process. Over a week, and the replacement still hadn't left their facility. STAY AWAY! Other, much better, faster, and CHEAPER frame companies are here on the Web. I know, I have a perfectly fine frame that shipped via a competitor in one day for half of what I spent with Frame It Easy.

I scoured the internet looking for a place to get a frame for a certificate. I stumbled across this company and decided to give them a try. The ordering was quick and I recieved my frame in a week. Their selection is MORE than adequate. I plan on purchasing all my future frames from this company. Oh and by the way, the packaging is phenominal!

At a recent museum visit, the spouse was admiring a painting. I decided we needed to spruce up our home, so I ordered a print online. The first print was cheap and awful. I returned it. Lesson learned. I bought a higher quality print from a museum online store. Then what to do? I thought I could just cut the white border and get it into a 24 x 30" frame -- the largest size that isn't super expensive. The frame came broken and I returned it, but I took this as a sign. I needed to respect the art and get it framed right. I wanted matts but that would bring the size up to custom made. I have a few framed prints in my home, none bought recently. I remembered that it was expensive. I didn't remember HOW expensive. In 2023, what I wanted, a decent metal frame, 2 matts, a clear screen, estimates were over $500! And that was before the upselling! It was impossible. So when it seemed like Frame It Easy could give me I what I wanted for $168 including shipping that seemed like a deal.

The frame came with everything I ordered and needed, except maybe the hammer to nail the hook in the wall. They did include soft bumpers for the wall which I thought was a nice touch. Was it tricky? Not really, and there are helpful videos. I don't think I was quite prepared for how hard it is to keep dust and pet airs out of the screen, so my "pro-tip" would be (1) vacuum first and (2) there's a reason the framer in the video is wearing gloves.

Does it look as good as what the professionals would do? Possibly not, but the difference isn't very big. It's like putting together Ikea furniture. It allows ordinary people who might not have a lot to spend to have nice things if they can do a little bit of the work. Not a bad trade-off!

In my case I knew what I wanted and had already priced it out. I'd recommend you do a little research first as well, but you could probably start with the videos as they explain a lot. I'm happy I made this decision, saved money, got the frame and matting I wanted, AND had the satisfaction of feeling like I did it myself.

Site is well done and straight forward to create a custom frame. Shipping time, quality and accuracy was excellent. Price was a good value.
