Fragrantica

Used to think this was one of the best fragrance sites because of its open and easy going approach. Until recently when they started demanding registration if you want to view (let alone write) the reviews. No, I do not want to view them that badly. I don't need yet another login request. So long Fragrantica, it was nice knowing you.

There are some nice, helpful users and reviews there but the forums are horrible. They've become corrupted over time like a lot of forums seem to do (why is that?) Just very rude, condescending moderators.

Learned a lot about perfume, but the admins are terrible, and they allow bullying and mentally ill people to post a lot of fake profiles and attack people. Very little monitoring. Lots of sock puppets indeed! You don't know who you're really talking to. Some real nasty characters on here.

Bad/lazy admins and religious bigots. Not a good site to use.
They also do little to not about people being cheated. People are allowed to swap perfumes there and many of them got ripped off. No action was taken as far as I can see. Beware of getting scammed.
