My sister in law sent me and many others an email about this fantastic product. She had heard about it from a cousin. They were all pretty sold on it. Happily, I believe I saved them some money.
ANOTHER SHARK TANK FAKE AD. These Shark Tank ads show up online. I've seen them for several different products. This product is "KETO Slim", some kind of product that is supposed to switch your body into ketosis, thus leading to weight loss and increased energy.
The headline is: "EVERY JUDGE ON SHARK TANK BACKED THIS PRODUCT FROM NORTH CAROLINA". The funny thing, and the reason my relative emailed this to so many is that a day or two before, this product was from WISCONSIN, where we all live! I have seen these Shark Tank ads for several different products over the last couple years, all of them using the same words. First the ad says, "Never before had the judging panel unanimously decide to invest millions into a potential product." A LIE, since I've seen at least 2 other products saying the same claim. Also, the couple who developed this was the "first to receive a standing ovation". (So were the other developers).
This is another of those products that are not sold in stores and that potentially could involve autoshipping, which is only revealed in tiny font. They are also very expensive.
SO IF THE AD IS UNTRUE AND FAKE, WHAT WOULD YOU EXPECT FROM THE PRODUCT?
I was burned once. Now I make it a kind of mission to warn others, especially seniors like me who are on limited incomes.
Thank you.
