PC Drivers HeadQuarters

Very strange and sometimes totally laughable reviews on this software here, from what I can see. They don't correspond at all with my experience. I've been using this software for years and I can sort of come to their defense. I have always found it to be straightforward and time saving. I have some odd and atypical pieces of equipment as part of a home studio, and this software gets me going when I have a new piece that I need to work and I don't have time to go tracking down a driver.

My purchase experiences have been completely typical of any online store, contrary to several other reviews
(one of which claims a charge was made on their credit card, even though they never entered their credit card and purchased? Something is stinky in Beantown)

I'm willing to bet that my fellow reviewers here have little idea what they are doing in the first place, as I have never experienced what they are talking about nor have my colleagues who also use it.

Website is cleverly worded. Looks like its freebut then nothing is.
Buyer be very aware.
I get the feeling I have been scammed.
Hardly any of the downloads work and it crashed my printer after scan.
Support exists in the form of preformed memos the contents of which have nothing to do with my initial request.
I still have yet to correspond to a human being.
I would like to sue them for bad trading but I am now getting out of my trolley so I shall conclude.
I would strongly avoid this site.

I have been an avid user of drivershq.com from 2004. It generally works very well and I would up until now recommend it to any computer user/ builder.

I purchased an Unlimited licence so I could update and download drivers for any computer I worked on in the future. The service was going well until last year when I was told I had to purchase another 10 licences. I emailed them and showed them the unlimited licence invoice from 2004. Several emails later I thought it had been resolved, however last month I found out they had only given me a few extra and now I have used those up they are demanding money for another 10 licences. They have replied ignorantly ignoring the fact I have an unlimited licence. I am awaiting a response from them yet again.
If this is their attitude then let it be known that this company is a fraudulent outfit who reneg on their terms and conditions of purchase. I purchased an unlimited licence of them in 2004 and I would like it reinstated please

This site posed as an official download site for Logitech Mouse Drivers and for free. As I worked preceeded through the site it became apparent that it was not free but instead the service was chargeable at USD $ 9.95 which I then agreed to paying, if it could resolve the issue for my required mouse driver, but after entering my Paypal payment details it then processed and had charged me USD $39.90! I then immediately wrote to Paypal, safecart.com and also the Vender Driver Detective a. K. a. Drivers HeadQuarters. My Paypal account was charged approx GBP £28. Paypal advised that they could not help as I had already paid and so I should take the matter further with Driver Detective, which I tried again. I have had no response from either Driver Detective nor safe.cart.com! I consider that I have been "scammed". I shall persue further - but my next course of action is not apparent to me at the moment. James. To add insult to injury the Driver Detective did not work for me - I eventually got to the Truely Official site of Logitech for the driver. Driver Detective after scanning my pc for drivers suggested a whole long list of outdated drivers - non these that I tried worked and besides which Driver Detective software leads you to a whole list of files and folders for a One Off specific driver - I did not find any of the files as a functioning nor satisfactory SETUP application. Exe etc... I feel very cheated with respect to my trust, time and money. I feel that their site or operation is neither honest or credible... I feel tempted to phrase these words far stronger
