The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) is a nonprofit organization that helps veterans and their families.
The DAV was founded in 1920 by World War I veterans. Congress granted the DAV a federal charter in 1932. The DAV has over one million members.

The DAV offers support services to veterans and their families. These services include:
Healthcare, Disability, Employment, Education, Transportation, Financial benefits.
The DAV also supports physical and psychological rehabilitation programs for ill, injured, or wounded veterans.
DAV members receive some perks, including:
Savings on Ford vehicles
Discounted hotel and rental car rates
Free subscription to DAV Magazine
