Latest upgrade has some cool new features that is so useful to work with my remote team during a time like this. Built-in video conferencing to capture ideas, suggestions and change requests from team members is highly useful. Add to that the real-time mouse tracking helps to collaborate with others as if you were in the same room.
Im not sure what is wrong with these morons but this tool is extremely hard to use when you make a complex diagram... There are so many illogical design choices in this garbage. You try to elongate something and it also changes its position, even though you are just dragging the side of the shape. I have never seen that before! Every single feature in this garbage service is designed equally poorly. These clowns will also let you create something, then lock you out after you have been offline for some period of time, so your time and work is held hostage until you give them money. That's how they got me to sign up. I'm like halfway through making a sequence diagram... could have finished this already if this program wasn't made in an asylum for the feeble minded. Really disgusted by their predatory business practices, but the lack of quality on top of that is just too much. Find an alternative or you will regret it.
Can't make figures and export them without an annoying logo on the bottom unless you pay for a subscription. They don't tell you this before making the figure so now I cannot use it. Terrible website, unprofessional, and a huge waste of my time.
I discovered Creately when I was looking for a specific template. It's a powerful tool to create all sort of diagrams but for me, the best features is their templates. There seems to be a template for every scenario. I moved my team to it after seeing the whiteboarding capabilities. And kudos to Shiraz, who helped us to recover one of our diagrams after a co-worker deleted some parts of it. Overall, I have no hesitation in recommending this awesome software.
I paid for the software and then I tried multiple times to download the software. The link sent to me in my email with my license did not work. So then I tried to download from the software I paid for from the website. Some links on the website didn't work. Finally, after on one of the pages I was able to download the software but is a much older version from 2017. It lack some of the features, and updates of the newest version advertised.
I have sent several emails. I received two responses, the last response stating they were going to help get me the right version, then nothing. No customer service and the software is not what I thought I was receiving.
I signed up for the $5/month service for a school project using their Genogram template. Though it was a monthly subscription I had to pay the full year up front. It was not a very useful tool so I canceled the remaining 11 months and asked for a refund of $55. After several emails they lied and said it was an annual subscription and I could not receive a refund even though the screen shots clearly state it was $5/month. I have filed complaints with the US Attorney General though this company is located in Australia. The CEO of the parent company, Cinergix, according to Wikipedia is Chandika Jayasundara.
I requested my refund due to terrible customer service. My ticket has been escalated about 2 weeks ago nothing so far?!..
Answer: We opened two tickets with them and both of them got a response in minutes. Solving one problem took about a day, but they were helping us recover a diagram we deleted by mistake.
