I ordering a build from them back in June the person done my pad srew it up to low on one in so I told Mr car port about this on a Friday and the Monday they come with the to put it up so they said it was five inch's low at the back so they said the could not put it up so I payed 650.00 to o them to take the building back to N C will little later I found out the pad was on the land next to me so I call then and told them the situation that I had to tear my pad up that I wonted my deposit back of 2,500.00 and my half of the building I paid for 5,672.00 the said they could not pay me the deposit are Back and my 5,672.00 so they stew me out of 8,00.00 plus 650.00 to send the building back they are bunch of scam so please don't truss there's SOB because they stew me out of 9,000.00
The entire experience has been horrible. It took over 7 months and me having to change the colors to have it built. They claim the bottom trim is not included after it was built, even though the sales rep and I had a lengthy conversation about it before i paid the deposit. A door hung over in inch off and a window that dont open. Gaps in the roof that will allow the wind under to rip it off. Run the other way.

Well now it is May 28th, 2023 and still no one has come back to fix their stupid mistakes. It's been 8 mo since garage was completed in the dark (midnight). Not a peep from anyone about when this will get fixed. My guess is never. I can't stress enough how important it is to not give them all their money until your completely satisfied. Not one phone call from Carport Central or Coast to Coast to set up repairs. DO NOT USE THEM

Garage was finally completed the first part of September 2022, one year later. The 3 day build (per workers) took 5 with many issues that could have been avoided by workers. The last 2 1/2 days (very late starts) took them well last 11 pm ea night. My gut said to not pay in full until we could inspect in the daylight but we did anyway. Now the daylight showed they installed the valley flashing on the outside if the siding and trim. Either they don't know what they are doing or the 11:30 pm finish job was hurried. The latter would be my guess as I asked they mail times about putting it up before the siding was screwed on. Well now it's been over a month and we are still waiting for them to get a crew here to fix this. Will it be another month? Hope not as the weather us changing and I don't want water damage to my vehicles inside. Will update when we are "completely " finished.
Update from May review. It is now August 2022 11 mo later and still no garage. I get only lies, excuses and then silence. No communication at all. This company and Coast to Coast Carports work together to scam you into signing and giving a non refundable deposit and they won't deliver. Get legal advice up front and search other companies. They only give positive feedback on their website. Google further reviews and you will find out what they have done to MANY people.

Spent two months trying to get Carport Central to provide plans my county would accept for permit. Never did. Spent another month trying to get my deposit back (over $1,000.). Does not return calls, I'm currently pursuing legal channels to try to reclaim my deposit. Avoid this company, and Central Steel (sister companies) at all costs!

Contacted carport central and asked if they could build a residence like they advertise. We were picked one of there buildings and they said no problem. We sent them close to $17,000 dollars to get our engineered plans which we received. Took them to our county and they said this is not a residence it's nothing more than a garage with 2 ft. Thick walls and windows not to fire code. They said nothing can attach to there walls or building could collapse. We Contacted carport central and we have got nothing but a run around they are blaming coast to coast who they had engineer the plans. All I want is my money back because they can't engineer a residence with interior walls attached to there building or a building without 2 ft. Thick walls.
Coast to Coast has modified your engineered plans to meet your local building codes. Coast to Coast has reached out to Lane County in regards to you updated plans. Lane County will not speak with Coast to Coast regarding the updated plans without permission from the customer. To resolve this issue, please reach out to Lane County and give them permission to speak with Jane at Coast to Coast regarding you plans.
This Company is terrible they took my deposit quit answering phone calls and won't give back my deposit or put up the building. I was promised 8 to 10 weeks to install Been 10 months and nothing. Read the reviews on the bbb web sight. Find someone else that won't lie to you like they do!
Mike I do want to apologize for the experience. However we have tried to contact you a couple of times with no return calls. For example December 3rd our customer service department called and left you a voicemail and never heard back. So far I have one roll up door that they installed incorrectly that is junk. Lasted 3 years. This company is still a joke. I'm still fighting problems with the building 3 years later. It is all based on how they built it. I now find spots they spray painted to hide. 3 years later the spray paint is fading. They also put all the flashing on wrong. It causes rain to run into the building. They never installed the header seals from the contract and they were the ones that made the contract

Left and never installed one door because they didn't have hardware with them. They shipped it to me and I had to install myself. All 3 roll up doors they installed are not correct. The header seals I paid for and were in the contract were never installed. It has been almost 2 years and they have not finished it. They sure bug us about a payment even though they never completed the building and signed our names on almost everything themselves
Once they have your money your on your own. Their builders can raise the prices to pretty much any amount they want and when you say no please refund your deposit they offer you pennies on the dollar if anything. Look anywhere else to have your building put up, you been warned.
I want to apologize for all the thing I wrote about carport central, we got together and talked, the owners of the company apologized aswell, thing got out of hand on my part. I was told that the owner was very upset over the handling of this deal. I was refunded my deposit and they are still delivering my carport, this is a class A company and I would send anyone there to do business
