I critter chewed out as wire bundle on my truck causing shorting of the Cranksahft Position sensor. Thus causing the computer to have serious issues. The reconditioned ECM worked perfect, easy to install. Very happy.
Cindy was great to deal with. The right part was shipped and worked great first shot. Only issue I had was the computer still had previous codes triggers, needed to clear these. Other than that I would recommend.
Very informative and easy transaction. Item worked perfectly out of box, return of core made easy. Only complaint was slow ship time. Took a week from NC to FL. Really needed quicker when car is down
Once the shipment left their warehouse, they requested a response via email if the package had delivered yet since the tracking due date was getting close. My unit was received in one piece and package was bubble wrapped well inside the box. A shipping label was provided inside the box for me to ship my old unit back to them in order to obtain my warranty. Very simple process all together.
Happy that my module was shipped in a timely manner and is WORKING in my 97 Dodge van. I checked locally for a replacement with no success. Car Comp Exchg. Is comparably priced and with def unit return, offers LIFETIME warranty.
Never done anything like this was worried a little but they made it super easy and understandable.
They sent it back nice and clean like it was brand new too.
Definitely will recommend this company to friends & family.
Quick service. I wish they would have told me they needed the numbers off the old PCM before I started the order process. It all worked out and I got my order placed, just would have been easier if I had known everything they wanted before I started the order. Communication was great. Thank You.
We had a de buckle with the delivery. It took twice as long that it was supposed to. We finally got it. It was supposed to arrive on Tuesday and did not arrive until Friday. Very slow shipping.
Ordered a computer for my 2005 Dodge Ram SLT received a unit and installed per instructions, the unit would not allow my car to go into gear showing code P1603 Dual-port RAM failure. Called and emailed about the problem and waited days for a response. Authorized a return so I send the unit back for replacement (among with my core to save on shipping). Waited more than two weeks for the replacement unit. Looked identical to the one I shipped back (complete with the same paint runs and smell of spray paint permeating the box where they had "refinished" it.) sure enough, same code. Factory Service Manual has exactly two culprits for this code: the harness and the unit. Well, the harness was new OEM. I even changed out the ignition switch as an added measure just in case it was sending a short before installing the new unit. Called them back and they authorized a return, so long as I paid shipping. Long story short I'm out $30 and four weeks messing with these fools. Save your money and just use Flagship One.
(Pro tip: when calling press #1 for sales, because that's the only thing CarComputerExchange.com really cares about - All other menu options send you into the void.)
The process was quick and easy. I found what I needed and was skeptical about other sources for a pcm. Car Computer Exchange seemed to be the most reliable option. Yeah, it costs a little more than the other guys, but the quality is there. And that's what your paying for.
Answer: No, they sent us 2 non-working ECUs and I had to file a complaint with the credit card company to get my money back.
Answer: It would be easier to give a full grown lion an enema.
Answer: There are only really two ways to reach this company. The first way is to call the number and ignore all other menu prompt options and just press 1 for sales. It's all they care about. Otherwise you will be listening to elevator music for thirty minutes before getting dropped out of the system and calling back. The other way is to send an email and wait two to three days for a poorly typed one sentence response that doesn't fully address your issue, and this will go back and forth for a week until you finally get somewhere. Good luck and Godspeed. The other
