Big Island Coffee Roasters have great coffee. Their website has a lot of information about Hawaiian coffee. So it's a good resource if you're interested in small farms and artisanal roasting.
The website gives enough product information about the coffee to make an order with confidence. I like to read about locally grown coffee, its origins, and the developing story of the couple who farm and roast coffee in Hawaii.
I give them 5 stars for their coffee quality, business values, and responsiveness. I can say this because I have been a coffee of the month subscriber with them for about 1 year. I visited their farm on Big Island. The quality of their trees and growing practices are excellent.
They have shown me more varietals of Hawaiian coffee and processing methods. So if you want to try real Kona coffee and then branch out, Big Island Coffee Roasters is one best grower-roasters in Hawaii, IMHO.
